Indiana Jones had shifted its central theme from physical gold hunting to knowledge hunting. This aim was done by assigning the knowledge core to an alien species (Grey or Zeta Reticuli). The film re-echoed Asimov's futuristic 'foundation & empire' theme.... read entire post
