We just had an earthquake 6,1 on Richter at 15.45. It origin was not far from us about 50 kilometers or so, near a village named Selfoss.
There are no damages. Only things fell out of shelfs so far as I know.

At 4:44 this area had a 5.2 earthquake. It was 3+ miles underground and 41 miles north of Evansville. I live 31 miles north of Evansville, Indiana. It has been the first quake in years. WOW ....There is a fault line, the New Madrid, that runs thru here..... read entire post

The earthquake was 6,3 on Richter. There were only minor casualties and our houses are built strong with earthquakes in mind. So there were maybe not many buildings ruined but some and some people lost all their belonging. Pictures.... read entire post
