Most of you know that my mom has Alzheimer's and has been in a nursing home now for 3 yrs. Most of the time she doesn't know any of us. The above picture was taken of her and me about six months before she went in....

nurturing mother anymore, who use to dazzle me with her "common sense" and her beautiful laugh and sweet smile, I still have this mom sitting sometimes quietly looking at the window. I will take this mama over the other choice anyday........
