Well, since NSS and MM&I covered the humanitarian ones that were my top picks, I'll be selfish.

    1. a spacious (but not extravagant) home in a small, family-friendly (and safe) mountain community

    2. a job for DH that he'd love, that would support life in said community comfortably

    3. I gotta agree w/ed on this one - that'd be sweet!

Reading through these, and I think Queenie should change her wish around---wish for a boyfriend with money to buy her the laptop and cellphone, then she can have two more wishes...ha..

Me?  All the ones that you all refer to as humanitarian  (too many to count)

But the personal ones, just for me?

An invention that, no matter how bad the winter gets, they can keep all roads clear, all the time!

A career, rather than a job.

For my son to have a wonderful life, no matter what he chooses to do.

I don't get more?  I want alot of things!

  • wantingmore said on Nov 29, 2007....
I want those humanitarian things too, but I'm gonna be selfish with this list!

    1. to have the love of my life all to myself
    2. to be healthy and in good shape
    3. to feel truly happy and at peace in my life (I'm a true Libra!)

  • Fallyn said on Nov 29, 2007....

  • TinSoldier said on Nov 29, 2007....
The compassionate ones have already been taken by NSS and MM&I, but we'll see if I can improve on them...

    I also liked hidufel's answers.

    1. An attitude of sharing resources around the world equitably without removing the desire for excellence.
    2. An attitude of basic human dignity and tolerance around the world without denying the right to point out the mistakes of others.
    3. An attitude of trying to mold ourselves to our environment, instead of trying to mold our environment to ourselves, whenever possible.
  • Fallyn said on Nov 30, 2007....

My sister asked if she could share my email address with someone who was a classmate of mine back in high school. I said yes, of course. Right there, I should have given that more thought.

Got a bubbly email from her, and I responded in equ...
a poll of sorts...

That im sure wont happen, but I can dream....
