OK maybe there are not many interested but here they come snow pictures I got off the newspaper web. Real old ones some of them.

We don't have snow yet and we don't have ice and as far as I am concerned it can wait   forever. Two pictures are from the swimming pools.

Oh, burrr skald, the photos of the girls in their swim suits in the snow...makes me cold!!  Of course now knowing that your pools are hot springs...makes it much easier to imagine.  I love to see kids playing in the snow...as long as I don't have to play in it.  It is pretty to look at, but that is all I care about it too.

Skald, those people in the first 2 pictures are crazy!!!  lol!  Cool pictures though.  I love your posts with pictures.

i feel cold just looking at the pics!!! thanks for sharing the pics skald!!! =)

Skald, they could have all been taken here in Canada. I m with you...the snow can wait for ever but the forecast is for a long and cold winter with lots of snow. Yaaaaaaaaaargh!

Quiet. They are not exactly hot spring but the water comes from the  hot under earth water we have and has too be cooled. The water is warm and nice. The swimming water is 84,2 Fahrenheit and the hot tubs from From 86 til 104. The childrens pool 86.

Yes, we don't like the snow much anymore. But I've played with the grandkids and had fun and I remember how refreshing it was in the old days and how glad we kids were when the snow came.
Fearing.  Yes they are kind of crazy. I like to stay in the pool but not out of it in snow and cold weather.
Queen. They are all taking in good weather I think and when you are rightly clothed it is not cold if the wind is not blowing.
Botoni.  Oh no Botoni that is awful. I don't know how the forecast is here and anyway a long term forecast is seldom accurate. You cheer up.

Yes we swim like that here too Skald, in the hot springs haha. The first pic of the girls looks dated, with the swim caps haha.

You said you haven't got snow there yet? That seems strange, we have allot on the ground and it was nine degrees F. this morning here.

    Great pictures Skald.

Mobil. I want an old fashioned swim cap too. I bought one the other day not completely what I wanted but not the same silicon cap I've been using for years now.
No snow yet except for two days when I came home and that was just a layer. But that is Iceland for you unpredictable. Thanks Mobil.

Wow, you know I love the winter and love the cold. But I don’t get to see much. Would you believe that it is going to be in the high 80s F tomorrow. That is standard for winter weather around here.

Skald, I love the look of the tree branches with their heavy layer of snow.  Snow is beautiful as long as I can watch it from my nice warm house.  :)

Skymir. Good to see you I just looked in at your site yesterday. Sorry I did  not comment but I was wondering about you. In the 80's that is more than our  summer heat or warmth.
MissMimi.  Yeh, it's the same about the cold , Cold clear weather which is good to drive in, we call it window weather.
    Rolling Get your meaning.

I really like the fourth and fifth pictures. The fourth one is so real, the man with upright posture doing what he has to do, pushing the baby carriage, and the snow so visible as it falls. The fifth picture is beautiful, especially the snow covered branches. Both of those pictures really bring you into their world.

Ifbno. I really like them too and that is why I picked them. Thank you.
