I’ve Been To Plymouth Rock

 

Yeah, I’ve been there.

 

Except they’re not even sure it’s the right rock.

 

And the “Mayflower” is a duplicate of a duplicate…

 

And the Pilgrims weren’t even the first to come over…

 

And the ones that did come over were incompetent muddlers…

 

Except for a couple who managed to integrate

 

And blend in there…

 

I’ve been to Plymouth Rock.

    Weren't the pilgrims kicked out of every decent English-speaking county in Europe? It's pretty screwed up when you have to basically go into exile and start from nothing. Then it all gets spun to be for religious freedom. I wonder how many would have traded that freedom for the comfort of civilization once they hit that cold shore?
