In honor of the Thanksgiving mood, I just wanted to take a minute and thank everyone here at SC for reading my blog. And for giving me such good advice when I need it. And for laughing along with me when things amuse me. I know lots of people have said this before, in may different ways, but this place really is special. And I don't know of anywhere else that feels quite the same. Like a virtual home filled with friends.
And some of you I've gotten to know quite well over the time I've been here. There are even a few souls who I count now as some of my closest friends. I never imagined anything like that happening when I signed up here. So I just wanted to make sure that you all know you're appreciated by me. Every single one of you. And for those who are extra special to me, you know who you are. And I thank you most for being such wonderful friends to me.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Even those of you who aren't in America and don't celebrate it. It's the thought that counts :-)

so any history advice would be mighty appreciated!! lol as all i have right now is well in america its thanks giving they eat turkey and celebrate and stuff so we are having turkey for tea!!! :-) xx

destiny--Well consider your hopes confirmed :-) Thanksgiving is about giving thanks for all the blessings in your life. But it has to do with the Pilgrims and the Indians setting aside their differences to share a meal together. It's been a billion years since I've been in school and actually had to study this. But that's the gist. And yes, we eat turkey and watch parades and football. (not soccer...the other one) -

Well, Kyle...my I call you kyle? I know I'm pretty special. So when I carve up my turkey, and sprinkle my gravy, and bite into my forkful of rice and beans, I'll remember you and your words and smile! (It's always nice to know someone is thankful that you're around)
And I must say, reading your posts, even when it's just to say that your bored, makes me feel connected to the world in some small way. Between you and NurseCutie, Ed, SL, CW, Zayda, Sweetcookie. Truthsayer (jeez, I could go on and on), I feel like the world is a bigger and better place than I could have ever imagined.
For that, I am thankful. So enjoy Thanksgiving, I will have you and yours in my thoughts when we do our 3 hour blessing before dinner (hehehe).
