Last year as a nursing student and we're 7 months away from the much awaited, nerve racking board exams. I completed my major and minor cases in operating room, delivery room and cord dressing the newborn. now, we're back to being a community health nurse. Community Organizing Participatory Action Research is not a new thing for me, but this time it'll be without the guidance of our mentor. We have to act as a leader of the residents of an oppressed area in a far flung place. we have to integrate ourself as part of that community, act as educators, counselors, and from time to time be assist in home deliveries. Of course it'll be more difficult because we have to improvise with the resources found in the community and still keep things sterile. More babies this time...
