  Taint- hehe, im a perv.  I have the answer!  Really i do.  Absence makes the heart grow fonder refers to relationships.  Out of site out of mind refers to things or stuff.  Lets take cigarettes for example.  If they are infront of me i smoke way more.  If i hide them in a drawer, i dont think of them as much.  OR if you have a favorite cologne you only want to use on special occasions.  Hiding it will creat far less temptation to use it everyday, but if it was right there on the bathroom sink, you may use it more than you want to.  Out of site, out of mind.  Absence makes the heart grow fonder is relating more to missing someone or i spose something.  Say your lover was going to europe because she had to.  Her absence would make you miss her more because you cant pull her out of a drawer like the cigarettes you put away earlier.  Or if the drawer was locked youd want the cigarettes way more bc u cant have them.  If you willingly locked your sigs up u can willingly remove them.  Out of site out of mind is a choice.  Absence makes the heart grow fonder is out of you hands.  Did i help?

  hehe im tainted im always reciting cliches and quotes to everyone and i giggle when people such as yourself get a little confused with the seemingly contradictory ones bc im part of "they". When people say they say this they say that. Im usually always a peace of the whole. Its an underground society that spend hours creating "sayings" just to bug the hell out of people like you : P...sooo...figuritive?
