I love the internet, and its got so many different aspects, that almost every person can find a hobby they'd like.  But what is the point of all this?

Its mostly a distraction from real life, right?  Somewhere we can vent.  Somewhere so blurt out your thoughts without worrying what people think.  A place to talk about the things you're too scared of talking about to your friends.

But in the end, does it make you a better or happier person.  Does it help you to grow?  Does it  influence you in a positive way?

We're so addicted to it these days, I don't know if its necessarily good.  I agree that I've changed a lot since being so dependent on the net, but I don't always know if its for the better.

How has blogging or social networking changed your life.  For the better, or for worse?

I'd like to think I'm better for all the time I've invested online.  This place in particular has helped me to sort out stuff that I might have vented or buried.  I've also learned a great deal.
