My LDS MORMON Testimony:

My dear blog readers I know that this gospel LDS or mormon as some people call it is true. It is Christ's true gospel led by his true prophets Joseph Smith, Gordon B. Hinckley, and all the other LDS prophets, by a true Quorum Of 12 Apostles as directed by Jesus Christ, through the Holy Ghost.

I know that Jesus Christ is the living son of our living Heavenly Father. I know that Jesus Christ is the creator of all things that were created as commanded by His Heavenly Father

see: http://www.7cmm.org/

that Jesus Christ is in the exact image of his Heavenly Father

This post has TRUTH! I have been LDS my entire life, and still I feel awe and joy when I read or hear someone bear testimony of the truth. I love the links of the seven roles of Christ, and I found myself reading Joseph Smith's testimony again, which I have done more times than I can remember, and still again, the feelings spread through me of the miraculous love our Heavenly Father must have for us in allowing a young farm boy (pure in heart) to recieve and bring forth the fulness of his truth. This vision led to the coming forth of the Book of Mormon, another testament of Christ, which when paired with the Bible, gives a complete testimony of Christ's mission. I am filled with a desire to add my personal testimony of the truth of the Book of Mormon and the Bible - they contain the words of God. I try to read from them everyday and when I do, something just as simple as reading from a book, has the power to transform my life, my sorrows, my trials - to joy, acceptance, peace, and the intituition to know how to handle my life's circumstances is readily available. Such mercy, such love must God have for us in giving us these gifts! I was taught these things early in life by my parents, and have grown to know them for myself. God lives, and Jesus Christ is my living savior, and they preside over our lives, waiting for us to come unto them...CRJ

I guess I don't understand something.  Not about your post, but from the anonymous commenter:  I am protestant, non-denomination, but I have study mormon, and I do own a book "The Book Of Mormon", I got from a missionary that came to my door.

I totally admire the faith, and the lives that most of you lead.  However, one thing that is puzzling me like I said from the post above.   How can Jesus Christ be that person's living savior, if you don't believe he was the literal son of God, part of the Godhead, like in God the father, God the son, and God the Holy Ghost?

If you believe just that Jesus was a prophet, and/or a teacher, then how can he be your living savior.
We, as Christians, which I understand that is how you refer to yourselves too, but we believe in order to be that, we have been washed thru the sheddding of God's son's blood on the cross that saved us from our sins.

Confused?  About this person's claim.  ABOVE   POST!

To pookiedookie, I agree with you! I believe in God the Eternal Father, and in His SON, Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Ghost. See the Articles of Faith 1, Pearl of Great Price. What caused you to think that we, as mormons, don't believe Christ to be the Son of God? I assure you that we are taught from very early on about the Godhead, and the divinity of Jesus Christ. Go to www.scriptures.lds.org, and you can search for many scriptures in the Book of Mormon that testify of Christ's DIVINE mission, as the Son of God. Here's just a couple... Feel free to search for more, I would love to hear what you find. CRJ 2 NEPHI 25:19 19 For according to the words of the prophets, the Messiah cometh in six hundred years from the time that my father left Jerusalem; and according to the words of the prophets, and also the word of the angel of God, his name shall be Jesus Christ, the Son of God. ALMA 23:22-23 22 If so, wo shall come upon you; but if not so, then cast about your eyes and begin to believe in the Son of God, that he will come to redeem his people, and that he shall suffer and die to atone for their sins; and that he shall rise again from the dead, which shall bring to pass the resurrection, that all men shall stand before him, to be judged at the last and judgment day, according to their works. 23 And now, my brethren, I desire that ye shall plant this word in your hearts, and as it beginneth to swell even so nourish it by your faith. And behold, it will become a tree, springing up in you unto everlasting life. And then may God grant unto you that your burdens may be light, through the joy of his Son. And even all this can ye do if ye will. Amen.
