It's not that I like that word, I don't and I don't use it on any sort of regular basis.  If I thought it would make a difference though I would go and call Counclmen Bernard Parks and Council Woman Jan Perry the word over and over again until they acknowledged it for what it is.  A word.
 
Any idiot can name a dozen things that should be more important to Los Angles in particular and African Americans in Los Angeles in particular.  Like being encouraged to pursue education, or safe sex or shit just not getting shot.  This is a stupid waste of our tax dollars so in protest of ignorance I'll say.
 
I'd rather be a N-I-G-G-A
than get high or shot today

    But like the articles said, they're "feel good" measures that are nonbinding and have no real effect on anything.

    I guess that's easier and safer than facing real issues.

    Wow…I hope one day people will be able to look back at our time and laugh at things like that. But such pointless and inane things don’t seem to be funny when we have to live them. Personally I kind of wish that word would be banned, just so I could assign it a new meaning and start using it on a regular basis. That’s just the deviant in me talking. Good to see you SR.
