  yeah, do you know what makes me cringe about that type of sex? To me, it seems so inauthentic. And i don't remember myself being that boring sexually, but bdsm etc from what little i know about it... seems a tad along the self-harm/brutal/primitive side of things and psychologically harmful. i could be wrong. And i probably am. but that's how it seems to me.
  
  
  And the funny thing is, that some of the people who start blogging on here about their masters and their slaves and whatever... do it for 2 weeks in some type of euphoric sexual-daze-blaze and then not long after, sink to the depths of depression when it all turns weird.

  I have never understood why people post their sex lives online.  I get a question but details and stories seem inappropriate.  I still think sex is a private matter not public.  Am I wrong to think this way in this day and age? I don't know but it seems weird.
   
  As for this type of behavior, I haven't come across it.  It could be that a person has psychological problems or a background of abuse and control at the hands of people in authority.  They could be on drugs.  They could be exploited.  It's not like its handcuffs and role-playing.

  desertsienna2...don't think you're wrong but you're probably in the minority. One of the main results of the Internet is a huge proliferation of sex sharing, knowledge, porn. While personally I too find that I'm more of a private person than many online, I appreciate their sharing and the value they get from the Internet's anonymity and community (interesting combination I think).
