I'm probably going to hell for this. Whenever my sister and I get on a roll there's no stopping this kind of thing. We were raised in a very religious home, so please forgive our poking fun at those who feel the Lord more than we do.;)
IM conversation this afternoon
Sister: geez, I'm glad it's Thursday
uniquely: me too, in fact we could skip friday too
Sister: yeah, I'll probably just answer the phone when I feel like it tomorrow morning.
Sister: technically we aren't here on Fridays
uniquely: so if they get you it should be a perk
Sister: right
Sister: a rare miracle
uniquely: I can just see them now. "Thank ya Jesus! It's a miracle!!" (thunks forehead with palm of hand)
Sister: don't! stop!
Sister: can I get a Halleluja
uniquely: "Halleluja sista!"
uniquely: *shakes hands in the air, while eyes roll up to the sky*
Sister: can I get a witness :ances down the aisle::
uniquely: "Jesus love ya!" *dances right behind you*
Sister: A-men!, Ah say, A-men! and Hallelujah
uniquely: "Bring it to the Lord, sista!!!"
Sister: And the Lord said, "Do not call thy dental office on a Friday! Only on Monday or Tuesday or yea, even Wednesday and Thursday but Not on a Friday!" Can I get an Amen?!
uniquely: "Amen! Neva on the good Lord's friday!"
It went on for awhile before I had to stop in order to keep a straight face here at work.
