Apparently, I'm a really reliable person. I say this because I currently have three people wanting to hire me for various jobs ranging for caring for small children and animals to selling old ladies shoes. I'm flattered. Really, I am. I like all these people and would love to work for them. The problem is that I already have a job, my senior year of college to complete, grad school applications looming, and I've already committed to almost every volunteer activity I come across. I like staying busy, but this is beyond . . . I need to learn how to say "no." So you know, I copped the title of this post from "The Tourist". Now I have Thom Yorke warbling "Idiiooot, Slooooow Dooown" in my head. If I don't take my own advice, maybe I should take his.
