The page you were looking for no longer exists

cantering the line
between light and dark...
the pain of now
and the freedom of tomorrow.

one accidental slip
and the dark consumes
with a readiness
many would fear.

saddled heaviness
spurred to walk on
by heart's own knowing
but under duress
till it feels the sun
and resumes a lighter gait.

I just read an interesting article with the same, albeit generalized, subject matter as your poem. (Which, I enjoyed reading)

hi amirah, thanks for that. i have to say, i'm more partial to the essene version of jc rather than the trollop the christians would have us swallow.
re the dark night. that would seem fairly applicable right now. some light bedtime reading hey?

MMI, thank you. sometimes it feels good to purge :).

    i found another one too.

this is exactly how i'm feeling. couldn't have written it any better if i'd tried.
sometimes i hate this life. sometimes i feel like why did i put my hand up for it? Because sometimes there doesn't appear to be anything fun or nice at the end of all this struggle. Nothing to look forward to. Not deep down anyway. Superficially yes, you can plan for holidays and plan for fun things to do. But .. there's never any real peace.

Very interesting link you posted, Luci.  Thank you.

And, I agree with you about the Essene VS traditional Christian viewpoints.
