From nov. 1 to nov.4 I had a break from work.
I mean as a chemist.
The cook takes over.
Those four days were too short--
I was not able to do everything that I had planned to do.
Gelai occupied much of my time, not that i'm complaining.
I had wanted to perfect my recipes of slab bacon and pear shaped ham.
Before the holiday, I got all the ingredients ready.
although my hamburger recipe was considerably improved, I was able to sell it wholesale to my sister who's running a hamburger store- I had been able to come up with something better tasting than Vida hamburgers ( the brand she was using) and sell it to her at a lower price.
I was just taken aback at the bulk/quantity that she consume. I needed to hire someone else to help me with the preparation and repacking.
I asked my brother to work for me as his sideline job. He eagerly agreed.
This morning, I had to prepare one batch - good for 300 pcs. My sister reminded me last night that she will be needing another 300 pcs today.
whew.

My raw materials and ingredients are almost gone.
Before going home today, I needed to buy some of it. I did not foresee it coming. The hamburger product is outdoing the siomai sales. .Although, profit wise, siomai still generate more income.
My cousin heard of my hamburger product and ordered some.

this is all good, my product demands are getting bigger, and the sales was able to sustain the business.
I was planning on investing the profit to the stocks market to increase my initial principal amount, but the new store joint needed some more equipments like steamers and tongs and some consumables. So I used the money for buying all this stuffs.
If the sales turned out as expected I will be able to earn back the money after a week, and then I will add it to my principal stocks.

All is well I suppose.

My highschool friends had a gimmick last night - in celebration of the incoming birthday of two of them.
My phone buzzed and vibrated every minute.
they will not leave me in peace.
I wasn't in the mood to go out.
I had to go to work early today.
The night out started at ten pm.
I know them too well
Even if they say that we will just have a simple dinner, I know it will end at sometime past midnight.
I can't afford to be that wasted, the four days rest was enough for my workload to reach sky high.
psshaw.

on other news, Nov. 1 was spent as traditional as any filipino family does.
I almost forgot that I now had a close relative to visit.
My lola ( grandmother) who passed away early this year.
The cemetery is packed with people although it's not as dense as it used to be.
I stayed for two hours and then got myself some reasonable alibay to go home.
Mom and the rest of my siblings stayed in the cemetery for the whole day, I can't afford to waste my time chatting and idling.
Two hours is more than enough.
and oh, it's the first time that we didn't watch the MGB ( Magandang Gabi Bayan) Halloween news special. I still think Noli De castro does it best. oh well....

lfbno7: I told you I'm going to be rich in five years right?! if I can make it sooner, then i will. :)

lioness: I think it's because I'm highly motivated to do all this things and make the business grow. My mind is constantly alert and at tuned on what to do next and how to make this and that easier, better, etc. I hardly feel tired, but there are days when I'll just dozed off for a few minutes then start doing something again. heheh. At work, I spend lunch time sleeping. Well, there, yun ang pahinga ko. :)

queen: recently ko lang to nalaman, after kong malugi ng ilang beses. hhehee. Pag sa food- anything na prepared mo or with added value meaning with additional effort involve like cooking, dapat ang profit margin mo, at least 50%.
my next agenda for my siomai is to find people who will buy it from me ng wholesale. :) kelan mo ba gustong matikman? :)

Well I have'nt exactly been truthful to you and it's been bothering me...
That's me - may as well worry about myself - no one else seems too concerned with how I might feel.

Be warned - this is a self-indulgent, pitious little rant about how no one appreciates me! Pardon while I stomp around a bit and have myself ...
We finally told our families! Much rejoicing.......
