Appologies for the harshness, you know I didn't mean it.  But hey, you're reading this blog now ,right?  My point exactly!

In a way, in blogwriting, we are all becomming 'publishers' in our own right.  So why not learn from the big-boys.  Rule number one for publishers is: "use a title that will make people want to read the story".

I often pick up a paper on the way to work, and find myself in the middle of a story that was in no way as interesting as the title made out.  But I was reading it nonetheless.

Careful choice of wording in your title is invaluable!

You could have the best story in the world, but if the title is dull, people won't read it.

Be brave, brash and confident in your titles.  Draw people in, you can always explain everything properly in the actual article, but you must get them there first!
