i've been giving some thought to hanging up the trout, at least for a little while. i'm fond of it, and years of practice of made it an extension of my hand as any good tool should do, but perhaps it's time for a change.
so there are 2 questions for you:
1. should i give it a well-deserved vacation?
2. if so, with what animal should i replace it?
i don't really have a firm opinion on this one, so i'm kinda curious to see what you think. :D

my sister used to chat with people from norway and places like that...fish smacking was HUGE with them.....
they generally used Smelt, Mackerel, and Herring.....

Ed...keep the trout. I have managed to avoid it at this point and I am grateful. I dislike fish. I have a thought for you though. I think this needs to be included in the urban dictionary. Wouldn't it be funny to find out teenagers were trout smacking people in school. Maybe even kids would start getting suspended for trout smacking their teachers.
