I read the titles and then the description.  I always look at the tags last.  After reading those, I make the decision to read the post or not.  I don't have a lot of time for SC lately so what I read is limited.

Sometimes.  It's the first thing you consider, but sometimes the blogger will entice me to read.

Usually, I start by reading my Soulcast contacts.  I'm always anxious to read my favorite posters.  That's how I found this thread.  I also receive email notices for threads I've already posted, and I stick around to see if there is anything new from that author.

Sometimes, I search tags on my favorite topics...I bet you know what they are...wink.

The title got me to read this post.  Some posts are hard to comment on, even if I read them.  Put a question in the title and I feel obliged to answer.

honestly, the title sometimes interests me, the description sometimes interests me or sometimes, if i know a given soulcaster well enough, i will always read what they have to say no matter the title or description.

so no, the title alone has little to do with it, at least for me.

It's titles for me, then description.  I'll always read a post with a quiz or poll, and any title in the form of a question.
I read political posts, although I never comment. ( I'm afraid I'm politically apathetic.)
Titles come easy to me, it's thinking of a post that gives me a hard time.  I've got about 30 titles if anyone wants one...no charge.

To be honest, it typically isn't the titlealone that makes me read something. I typically read anything posted by the people I am subscribed to, regardless of title--although, I don't always comment.

For the people I'm not subscribed to, it's a combination of the title and the description that usually draws me in. Sometimes the tags play into that as well.

This time it was your question but it differs. Some people I always read when I see them.

It did me at first, but now I like certain blogger's posts, so I always go their's first.
What I would like to know, to what posts are they more likely to comment on, because I already know how I think, but I 'd like to know what other people think.
I really don't get that many comments to my posts, even if they are viewed many, many times.   I'd even like it if they said something like "this post was stupid", or "that's only your opinion".  I want honest feeedback.
Bless Ed's heart, he almost always leaves a comment.   I always appreciate that, and I took it as a rule of thumb, if I am going to take the time to read someone's post, I've got the time to leave a comment.
No Offense though.....keep reading anyhow, just wanted to let you know, I don't mind negative comments, too.   Thanks, Dee

I read titles and descriptions and then it's also dependent on whom I read...but almost everyone posts something that could entice me...but sometimes I just feel like I am not the right person to comment
