This post is inspired by MissMimi and Quietone, who have helped me through their recent posts, to force myself to look at the positive things in my life and I trust that my stressed-out mood will change.  What are you saying thank you for today?

Thank you, Heavenly Father, for helping me at work yesterday.  Thank you for pulling it all together when I felt like it was all falling apart.  Thank you that Mr Polar is so supportive and allows me to put in the extra hours without putting pressure on me.  Thank you that Mr Polar is such a great dad who looks after Tigger so well, that I dont even think about or worry about whether his needs are being met.  Thank you for a healthy little son, whom it is a pleasure to watch develop and grow and love :-)  You, dear Father, have been so wonderfully good to me and can never express my gratitude fully. . .I am humbled by your unconditional love and wish I can love you back. . .please show me how.

With love from your child, Polar

I say thank you to my higher power for teaching me how to keep things more positive and thinking "pink".  Thank you for showing me how to get out of your way and let you work through me.  Thank you for your unconditional love and patience with me    And thanks for the gentle nudges and sometimes the outright thump on the head to wake me up!  :)  And yes, even thank you for allowing me to make mistakes so that I may learn from them.

Quietone, all of a sudden you seem so terribly strong. . .perhaps I just didn't "see" before!  Being focussed on gratitude makes such a difference!

Mamie, you're so right. . .gratitude is contagious and so easy to catch if we are willing :-)  I looked at Mimikins and Quietone and thought "I'd like some of what they've got!"  And from there on it was easy to shift my focus.

Mimikins! Just the mere fact that you are here and I have the privileged to call you my friend is a reminder to ME! (((((((((((((BIG HUG)))))))))))))))))))

Wow, I am so proud of you.  So few of us actually remember all the things we have to be thankful for.
My sister told me about a sermon she'd attended, and the pastor was talking about 'rich man's problems'....  This really intrigued me, and made me realize that half the problems I'm complaining about is a rich man's problems.

I complain about the cost of fuel:  At least I have a car, others don't even have homes to sleep in.

I complain about my long work hours:  Some don't have jobs, and are unable to support their family.

I complain about how long the waiter takes with my order:  Some live most of their lives hungry.

Amazing how that changes your perspective hey?  I am thankful for the problems I have, because they remind me how blessed I am.

There are 1000's of children who are too scared to go home because their parents abuse them.  May I have compassion on those who are less fortunate than myself, but may I also have to wisdom to help them where I can.
