Ok, while I must admit that nearly every single time some movie comes out that is a remake or made from some huge book, so many people scream about it being downright bad. Due to any number of reasons.
Nearly always, I don't hold that same opinion. I will from time to time think the movie could have been better for some reason, I still end up liking it.
This is a movie I have been interested in seeing made since I read the trilogy many years ago. Now that I have seen this trailer, I honestly think part of my soul has died.
By the gods make it stop....

as a gamer, i'm a conscientious objector to reading dragonlance, never mind an adaptation of the series.

i didn't mean it looked like he man in a good way.

dragonlance is much better than he man and should be treated as such.

i did like he man when i was a little kid....it's just not what i'd call art.

Meh, suck it up. D&D movies will never get efforts worthy of any other movie, despite the fact that, in true geek fashion, we flock to the movies opening day to see Spiderman 3, Transformers, Harry Potter, and the likes. We are a demographic in ourselves. But... besides Shawn Wayans... can anyone name a single actor from the D&D movie? (which, by the way, sucked large amounts of ass.) The seconds... yeah, no better. (cept for the barbarian chick. She had big thingys.)

Yeah, I read those too when I was a kid... Loved 'em and Salvatore's books also, dark elf trilogy, etc. When I found the movie online I watched about 5 min. of it; that was all I could stand. Lol
I know this post is old, but thought I'd comment anyway.
