You are driving when Mother Nature calls you. You want to
rush to the nearest toilet by the gas station, but unfortunately you are stuck
in heavy traffic. What are you going to do? Where are you going to pee?
This is a problem too common for us drivers not to experience once in our lives. Good thing, a Japanese manufacturer of plastic car accessories has bothered to address that problem by developing a portable toilet for cars.
The portable toilet, which is installed at the back seat of a vehicle, includes a curtain to conceal users and a plastic bag for collecting the waste.
According to a report in Jalopnik.com, the Japanese product
is “the first ever model of its kind small enough to fit inside a car." The
portable toilet, called the "Kurumarukun" in Japan, has a
size so small it even can fit inside a suitcase, according to manufacturer
Kaneko Sangyo Co.
"The commode will come in handy during major disasters such as earthquakes
or when you are caught in a traffic jam," according to an official at
Kaneko Sangyo as quoted by Kyodo News.
To use the portable toilet, the driver only has to assemble the cardboard toilet bowl, place a water-absorbent sheet inside it, and put the curtain on.
Kaneko Sangyo will start selling the portable toilet online on November 15. This ingenious invention, however, will be presented at the Tokyo Auto Show later this month.
