  I do all kinds of stuff with needles, thread, yarn, paper, wire, etc.  It's a genetic hazard in my family, we're insanely creative and it drives many of us to compulsively create :)

  Getting ready to go home and eat dinner. I have only eaten a sugar tea bun since 1 o'clock and it's now almost 10! I just have to put a couple of things away. I'm also sitting sideways in my chair so I can dash out of here soon.

  Good. Another working day has ended. Time to go home and relax with dinner and K and the TV.

  Jeans, walking shoes and a yellow T-shirt (the only yellow one I have ever owned - it's a pale yellow) with a design that reads "Poison Potato" and shoes a box of french fries with a skull and cross bones on it.
  
  Weather Outside:
  Clear sky mostly. It was a comfortable day today with sun, blue sky and 21 degrees. Now it's night so it will be pleasantly cool.

  Aside from the tea bun I had leftovers from dinner (cold vegetables and a bit of beef), a melted cheese toast, some lettuce and a banana. It was a quick lunch because I had little time!

  Go home, hug K, visit the loo, help cook or eat what's ready with her. Watch a TV drama and then read while she's in the shower.

  For now that's fine. My chance to go to the mountains is coming soon. November 3rd to 5th. Though if I could be anywhere now I would want to be visiting a desert landscape somewhere. I saw a photo book of Sahara dunes yesterday and I have a urge to photograph sand dunes now.

  :)  yeah...  A few days back...  It was a simple affair.  Just a dinner with the family.  Didn't have much to celebrate this year, I'm afraid.  I have much to be thankful for, like my relative health and my return from the near dead and so forth, but I didn't feel that it warranted a celebration. 
  
  After a while, your birthday becomes just another day, almost forgettable.  Preferrably forgettable sometimes, as it is a reminder of how far you've strayed from the path, whatever that may be.  Bittersweet, if anything.

  Things i am doing right now:
  
  • Watching Fox news
  • checking email and posting to my fave hobby site while answerng this on Soulcast
  • Thinking of things I have to do this weekend with family
  • Thinking of invites that I need to respond "NO" to
  Mood:
  
  • Good--I volunteer at an arboretum on Tuesdays, so it's total me time
  • Worrying about the work I should get done tonight but will probably put off until tomorrow. Tuesdays are "ME" days.
  
  Outfit:
  
  • Madras (brown and black) walking shorts
  • Army green t-shirt
  • socks, I never walk in barefoot in the house my extremities are always cold
  
  Weather outside:
  
  • Very nice, overcast, but a really nice breeze and 80 degrees
  
  Last meal:
  
  • Lunch/dinner 45 minutes ago: Utz potato chips and a really good tuna salad sandwich on Oat Nut bread. Oh, and a juice glass of cran-apple juice
  
  Next on the agenda:
  
  • Make dinner for friend who's in town
  • clean living room
  • finish load of laundry
  • call my niece
  
  But wishing to be:
  
  • Making out passionately with my "sexual crush", In a cabin in the woods of North Carolina
  
  Relationship:
  
  • single and YES, I always want to spend the night kissing and making love

  talking to an awesome new friend from india
  thinking of things to write
  trying to be tired.

  turned on.
  tired but not sleepy
  alive and aware.

  blue plaid pajamas. UGG.

  i'm in bed, so possibly cold....i have no idea.

  turkey, cranberry sauce, gravy, mashed potatoes, peas, dinner rolls.
  and i had some carmels and lindor truffles

  waking up.....finishing putting party together for the same night....tomorrow.
  sewing my costume. (i ran out of time this past week)
  
  But wishing to be
  
  completely cuddled up to my baby.....listening to him snore while he holds me close all night long....and then waking up together and not having to leave the bed.
  
  Relationship.
  
  Seeing someone.....In Love. ........it doesn't have a label yet....we'll figure that out as soon as some other stuff in my life is worked out.
