I don't think it is that rude to sit down at a show. Especially when the band has a lot of chill songs. Artistic songs that they open the show with that are there to make you kinda feel like you are tripping. Mostly noise and while it sounds pretty I am not the type to stand and wiggle around like I am enjoying it. I enjoy being tripped out from my damn seat. Its not all glamor and yes I deal with a numb ass at times, but it is my choice and you don't have to get all up tight about it.

Are you jealous that I get to enjoy the show with my feet propped up on stage. Maybe that is why I paid my $8 to come to this dive and listen to this band though a worse sound system then I have in my bedroom. We could have had the band play in my living room and it would have sounded better, but I would have still sat in my lazy boy with my feet propped up.

Don't punish me for this by playing as loud as you can get it. You aren't destroying anything so why should I get up, or even move for that matter. You are lucky I tapped my feet to your catchy tunes, but if you don't put my life in danger, or at least get me roughed up enough to jive in front of the ladies, then don't expect me to be standing. I don't like the emo stand, and I don't think it makes the show any better. I can bang my head sitting down, and even foot stomp better and harder than I could standing up.

All you destroyed is my ears, which used to be something I enjoyed in a good show. Made me think of all the good times had at the show the entire ride home because I couldn't hear anything. But now it is really just a symbol of something that kind of bugged me, and ruined the show. You punished me for trying to have a good time, and that is just something I really can't like in a band, no matter how moving your music may be.
