According to TMZ, Prince is being sued by a man who alleges that the pop star stole 12 hard drives from him. It sounds pretty serious. According to the lawsuit filed on October 16, 2007, Prince and crew stole 12 hard drives valued at $12,000; destroyed a $25,000 computer; and failed to pay for $79,200 worth of services rendered from 11/15/05 to 6/30/06.

Damages are a grand total of $116,200 and the plaintiff is suing for $1,000,000.

I just recently became a Prince, and I'm seeing a lot of rumors around the Internet saying that he's big jerk. Does anyone know for sure if there's any truth to that? He seems pretty cool to me, but what do I know.

And about the case, why did the plaintiff take so long to get around to suing Prince? If he's been stiffing the guy for nearly 2 years, why not take action sooner?
