I had to appear in court today as representation of my place of business. I went wearing dress slacks and a button up dress shirt and a nice pair of shoes. Along these lines is about how I usually dress for work. As I was waiting to get into the court room I began to look around at the other people waiting to go into see the judge.
Why would you come to court looking as if you just crawled out of bed???
The woman that I had filed against was there. She looked and smelled awful!! She had on a shirt that had a spot on it that looked as if she had dropped her breakfast on it. And the cotton pants she had on were for one thing about 3 sizes to small and had a big rip in them. She smelt like she hadn't had a bath in days and her hair was greasy and nasty looking as well.
I realize that most low income families dont have the money to go out and buy alot of new clothes. But I have seen this woman dressed in clothes that would have been much more appropriate for today. And wouldn't you think she would have atleast bathed!!!
I think that is one thing that absolutley drives me nuts is to smell someone with horriable BO. I mean come on how much is a bar of soap...what 50 cents!!!And I deodorant dosn't cost but about $1 at the dollar store. Why do people allow themselves to go out in public smelling and looking like a homeless person??? I have had people come into my business smelling so bad I couldn't talk while I waited on them because the smell was so bad I had to hold my breath. Then it was necessary to spray air freshener after they left to get rid of the lingering smell of BO!!!! GROSS!!!
