  hm...well, as always w/ such questions, my first answer is rachael ray, originally of food network, but i've also long admired michelle pfeiffer, who simply gets better as she ages; pink, whose earnestness and sass are incredibly sexy to me; alyson hannigan and jewel staite, who to me are excellent examples of girl next door appeal. insofar as my tastes in women can be said to have a type, that's it: girl next door.

  k-lo: i have such a thing for rachael ray, k-lo. i truly do. it's something that my wife finds entertaining, and that's OK, b/c she has a major thing for alton brown. :>
  
  oddly, i don't find giada particularly attractive--although i have to say, i think that her mother is incredibly attractive. in other food network personalities, i'll confess that i find nigella lawson very attractive as well--there's something so lush about her...
