Tomorrow is a non-working holiday in the Philippines since we have to pay respect to the Ramadan, and no, I'm not a Moslem. :) Anyway, since it is going to be a long weekend, I get to go home to my province to visit my mom and be idle there for three days, however it could have been better if we already had our salaries. (wink). Well, at least on Monday we will.

Btw, I bought a tv the other day because my laptop decided to retire after 5 years of servicing me in programming and studying... 5 long years, which definitely served its purpose. So basically, since I just moved in my apartment, without a laptop, I am gonna get bored, so I decided to buy a tv, since I can't buy a new computer this year. (long story)

Basically, I bought this cheap tv since it is on sale, its actually 6.7k, but its not bad since its brand new, and 21inch flatron LG tv, considering that I would be the only one watching in it. Well, talk about the fruit of my labor. Anyway, I'm gonna buy a new pc by January so as to help me do my freelancing projects (sssshh... don't tell the boss ok? LOL). Anyone want a freelance web developer? (PM me)

Yesterday and the other day, I got two separate job offers, well talk about marketability, and I haven't really been looking for one. One offer is in Singapore, and the other one is in Japan. Honestly, the offer sounds good, however, I am quite contented that I've settled into my new life away from home. :) Maybe in a year or two, if the offer is still up or so, then I'll probably go. Honestly, I don't have to support anyone but myself right now, and with the salary that I am receiving here in the Philippines, I can even support a family and save for myself (I'm an excellent saver btw, and yes, I am not in debt.). LOL.

I'll consider the offers after I get certifications here in the Philippines because I would like to grow in other fields as well while here in my own country. Besides, in a couple of years, my market value would be double than what I am receiving now, in the Philippines alone. Let's wait and see. :) I am just happy that a lot of blessings have been coming my way, and for that I am thankful.
