I am strong believer in the paranormal, like ghosts and things like that. I realize that a lot of people don't believe in that, or else they just don't know what to believe. And I'm sure that a lot of experiences people have with ghosts and spirits can be explained away with something more scientific and logical. But there are other experiences that you just can't explain. I've had quite a few of them myself and it's made me believe in it even more.

Recently, I saw something in my bedroom that can only be described as a shadow person. It looked like a person standing there, yet there wasn't anyone. And it wasn't on the wall where a regular shadow would be. Plus, it was solid. You couldn't actually see through it. I have a digital clock across the room, directly behind where I saw this thing, and the clock was not visible.

And just to clarify, I was not drunk or high or on medication. And even though I was asleep right before I saw it, I woke up. And my eyes focused. And there this thing was. It was just standing there watching Natalie sleep. It freaked me out quite a lot. So much so, that all I did was lay there and watch it. I didn't know what else to do. And it stood there for five full minutes (because I looked at the other clock we have on our nightstand) and then it just vanished.

I told myself that I must have imagined it because it couldn't have been real. But I'm pretty sure that it was. And I have no idea how to explain it. If it was a regular shadow, you'd be able to tell wouldn't you? And it wouldn't just disappear completely after a few minutes. It would change position or shape with the movement of the moonlight. Plus, it was a solid form. You can see through shadows.

I actually looked up 'shadow people' online to see what other people had to say about it. It was sort of freaky because a lot of people don't think they're human spirits. They think they're something else. Possibly not friendly. And another theory is that they're interdimensional travelers. I have no idea if I even believe that or not, but it's definitely weird and creepy.

Maybe everyone will think I'm crazy or that I watch too many episodes of Ghosthunters, but I swear this was real. And it actually upset Natalie to the point where every little sound makes her all jittery and nervous. She wanted to sleep with the lights on last night. I talked her out of that, but I'd be lying if I didn't say I wasn't a little jittery too. It was unnerving and strange and with the other things that have happened at our house, I'm starting to wonder what's going on.

Has anyone else ever had an experience like this? Do you believe in ghosts? Do you think this was a ghost or something else? Or do you just think I'm out of my mind? I debated whether or not to even post this at all, but I'd really like to have some input from other people.

Hey Kyle I'm really glad you posted this!!  You know my thoughts on this because we talked about it before but I'm glad because I have the same worry of people thinking i'm nuts and now I'll get to find out!!  But just to clarify, I don't think you are nuts, I think what you saw was real, I'm leaning towards spirit rather than interdimensional traveler myself....but who knows....anyway you already know all this but I am very curious to see what other people think!

tizzy--I almost didn't post it! I debated whether or not everyone would think I was insane, but then I realized I didn't care! This was just too weird and Nat and I talked about it a lot last night. I told her my one theory that I shared with you already, and she found that even more unsettling, just as I did. I hope someone else does reply with a theory of their own too. This is the first experience I've had that really unnerved me.

ET, I don't believe in the supernatural at all, never did.  I believe it has something to do with the fact that you had been asleep just prior to seeing the figure.  Sleep paralysis perhaps?  You mentioned that it vanished when you looked at the other clock. When you moved, your body and brain came out of the paralysis stage so you no longer saw the figure.  Brain chemicals at work.  Just guessing here.
Good post!  I can't wait to read other theories.
  • evil_twin said on Oct 10, 2007....
twyla--That's a theory. But the thing didn't disappear when I looked at the clock. I was watching it, then glancing over to the clock, and back again. That's how I knew how long it was there. I was watching the clock and it never changed. Then it just disappeared. But maybe I was imagining it? I just don't think I was.

I was raised in a very conservative christian environment that taught about God and Satan, but not spirits other than angels.  Since being on my own I've read pretty extensively on the subject of religions and non-human intelligence.  I've also had some hackle raising experiences of my own so here's my conclussion.

I think there are forms of intelligence that we know as ghosts or spirits.  I'm not sure if they're former or future humans.  For all I know they could be aliens in the fact that they are not human in form and possibly from other planets.

I think it is possible for the human spirit (essence) to transcend human life if there was something they were extremely passionate about. (love, anger, unresolved conflict, etc)  I have had occaision to "feel" the pressence of a dearly loved relative.  So, for you to have seen something you couldn't explain away doesn't surprise me.  Perhaps it was a grandparent or great grandparent who was checking in on Nat to make sure she is happy.

ET- now this is beginning to intrigue me.  I went to Wikipedia and it says something about "waking-sleep" and "hypnogogia", and electromagnetic fields interfering with the temporal lobe.  Fascinating stuff.

I never believed in ghosts until I experienced one myself.  It scared the hell out of me at first because I didn't know what was going on.  It's too much to go into here, but maybe I'll post a blog about it.  All I know is that since then, I believe in them.  I do believe they are there for a purpose--we just don't always know what that purpose is.  It could very well be that someone is watching over one of you.  Have you ever tried to find out the history of where you live?  It could very well be related to that as well.
  • Tara115 said on Oct 10, 2007....
well that is a very interesting post. I can't say that I don;t beleive in that but I can say that I have never had an experience. Sometimes I wish I would, I try to talk to my brother who died sometimes, I wish he would give me a sign or something, but nothing. My mom however has has a few weird things happen, such as the radio in her house turning up by itself and litltle things like that. We are sure thats my brother making his presence known lol. Boy I wish i would get some sort of signs. Maybe i have and haven't noticed. Anyway, none of this has to do with a shadow, but still I can't wait to see what happens in your house next.

I have definitly seen what I considered to be called "ghosts" but not what you described.  My sister claims to have had a night visitor with a blank face inside a hooded type cloak, and carrying a suitcase!  She said she sat up in bed and watched it set the suitcase down onto the floor.   I wasn't there, so I don't know.  Just saying what she swears to.  What I saw was more substantial.  A man in a flannel shirt and jeans, with brown hair--sort of floating off the floor without legs from the knees down.  Won't go into details--I have told this before here.  But I don't discount anything, really, because there is so much we don't know about how the universe works.  I have come to the conclusion that just because there is religion, God, and all that that entails, does not necessairally mean we can't see strrange things once in a while.  How are we to know what is "normal" in God's eyes?

Well, I didn't mean to get so "deep."  But that's how I feel about it!

I had forgotten about this but on a stay in England, in Yorkshire, I would see someone sitting on the window sell in the room where I slept every night. I never could see the guy well enough, he was like covered in shadow and he sat there looking at me but somehow I was not afraid and I went back to sleep.

Then when I was very little going down the stairs in my grandparents house, it was supposed to be hunted, I saw a shadow doing a dance and it really scared me. Mum was with me and saw nothing.
  • the_infernal_optimist said on Oct 10, 2007....
Hmm...not quite the same thing, but when I was about six years old, for a period of around four to six months (I'd guesstimate), I had a series of what my mom swears were dreams. I really don't think I was asleep. A man with glasses and a familiar mouth came and sat on the edge of my bed many nights, and I talked to him when I couldn't sleep. I told him about school and our cats and anything I could think of. Sometimes he smiled at me. I don't remember now if he ever replied - I don't think he ever said a word - but after a while, he would always put his finger to his lips in a shushing motion, and I'd curl up and go to sleep.

I told my parents about him eventually, because they heard me talking at night. I didn't know who he was, but he seemed like a nice guy. When I started to describe him, my dad went and got a picture from a dresser drawer. I told them that was the same guy, and my dad looked almost angry.

I later found out that that picture was of his father, who passed away about five years before I was born.

I'm not sure what I believe re: shadow people, but I don't see why it couldn't be benevolent, and I'd probably assume that until I had reason to believe otherwise.

twyla--This stuff was scaring me a little too! I read that article at Wikipedia that you mentioned. It was interesting. I have no idea if we have a high electromagnetic field in our house. It's possible, I guess. I'm intrigued too!

uniquely--A lot of what you said about intelligent beings that aren't human is really interesting. I read that type of theory when I looked up the shadow people. I just don't know what to believe about it. I've always assumed that 'ghostly' things were just dead people who hadn't moved on. And I've had quite a few experiences that I would classify as that. But this just felt weird. Totally different. And it was creepy. One of Nat's grandmother's is dead, but she wasn't close with her. And this shape didn't appear female at all. But who knows? I'm open to any sort of theory.

unknownuser--I'd be interested to read that blog, if you post it. I am a big believer in loved ones watching over us. Two of my grandparents died and I often feel their presence. But this thing in the bedroom wasn't them. I wish it was. I'd feel much better if I thought it was. I don't know much about the house, except that it was built in the 1940's. So any number of people could have lived and died there. I'd love to find out!

tara--I think it is possible that your brother has tried to contact you, but you just didn't see it. It also depends on the strength of the spirit. They don't all know how to cross over and make contact. It takes practice. But I'm sure that he is with you all the time, even when you don't realize.

wombat--I think that what I saw was close to what your sister saw. It didn't have a suitcase, but it had what might have been a long coat and possibly a hat. It was hard to tell. It was shaped like a small man, but it had no face or any features you could actually see. It was like an outline filled with black. I have no idea what it was, or how to explain, but I just know it was something. The only thing I'd really like to know is if it was innocuous or meaning to do harm. That's what freaks me out.
  • evil_twin said on Oct 10, 2007....
skald--That's interesting that you've seen something similar before. I'm glad you didn't find it scary though. I've seen other things that didn't bother me, but this one felt different somehow.

infernal--That is a really cool story. Like really cool. I definitely believe in stuff like that. As for the shadow person, I wish I knew what to think. It just didn't seem the same as what you'd call a 'ghost'. It was like something else. But all it did was watch. It didn't do anything bad. So I guess I just need to assume like you said that it won't do us any harm.
  • skald said on Oct 10, 2007....

E.T., I believe that you are as sane as the rest of us.  I can't say what it is that you saw, but I believe that it was real.  When we lived in Alberta for a brief period of time, we rented a townhouse right next to a graveyard.  My son and I didn't have any problems with the place at all.  The only thing I can say that was 'different' was that one night, just before I fell asleep, I had an overwhelming feeling of love come over me.  All I kept thinking of was my lineage, and that for a brief moment, they all came in line and let me know how much they loved me.  Weird, eh?  But that isn't the best part, or worst part if you're Hubby.

Hubby hated the place the moment he set foot in it.  Of course, he didn't tell me because it was so difficult for us to find the place to begin with.  Anyway, he told me after we'd already moved out of there that the reason he didn't like the place was because he got a very strong feeling of dislike, and it was directed toward him.  He told me that the 'feeling' was concentrated in our bedroom (the very place where I was feeling 'groovy'), and that it wasn't friendly.  Could it have been a jealous ghost?  I find that hard to believe.  Maybe.  It's not like Hubby to bullshit me.

Anyway, I hope that you find out who, or what, this entity was.  Maybe check out the history behind the place you live in.

    Good luck!  Blast.

evil twin:  I believe you.  And if it's any consolation--my sister is still alive and well, even after saying she saw this more than once.  I don't think whatever these things are can really harm physically.  I don't know for sure about emotionally or spiritually or whatever...  Happy Halloween, though!  (Just kidding there--I really do believe there are things we don't understand--and if it makes you feel better to leave a light on for awhile, I don't see the harm!)
  • nursecutie said on Oct 10, 2007....

This still spooks me!! But reading the comments has been very interesting though. I sort of wish I had seen this thing myself but I'm also glad I didn't. I think maybe I'd be more scared. Or maybe I'd be less scared if I actually witnessed it with my own eyes? LOL I don't know!

I have seen things before that seemed unexplained. And we have had other weird things happen in this house too. But I've never seen anything like what you are describing, Kyle. I think it seems so much scarier b/c it's a shadow. Shadows are creepy and dark. If it was a light thing, you would associate it w/being pure and good.

But since it's dark and lurky it becomes frightening. I don't like the idea of being watched. But I guess if you never told me what you saw, I wouldn't know. And if I didn't know, then i guess it's not going to hurt me. Hopefully!!

Wombat, I wanted the light on last night! It seemed safer that way. But we turned it off and everything was fine. Or if it wasn't neither of us woke up this time. I think we are probably a bit scared for nothing.........but I don't know!

It is just in time for halloween though........LOL

I will just try to relax about it and hope it doesn't come back again......

skald--I've seen and felt other things similar to this, but they never scared me either. There was just something unsettling about this experience.

blast--I think it is possible that the ghosts were being jealous! I've heard of things like that. I've also heard of some spirits only liking women or only liking men. It really depends on who they used to be. I would love to find out the history of my house, but I don't really know how to do that.

wombat--It is a consolation to know that no one has actually gotten hurt from this type of thing. I mean, I don't think I've ever heard that on the news before! Of course, no one would probably ever report such a thing anyway. But I'm gonna assume that whatever this was, it's not gonna hurt us.

cutie--I do think that it's best if we just pretend I was seeing things and go about our lives. Hopefully it won't come back again. And if it does, hopefully we won't see it. And if we don't see it, then it doesn't really exist, right? :-) If all it wants to do is watch us, then I guess we're safe. I just don't like seeing you scared...
  • nursecutie said on Oct 10, 2007....

ooh! I forgot to add.......Like Kyle mentioned somewhere above, my grandmother did die. But I don't know if she'd watch after me. Maybe? But I didn't know her very well. She didn't live here when i was growing up. And when I actually had the chance to know her, she had dementia and didn't know who I was anyway.......

But maybe it could be her?? Even though she wouldn't look like a mans shape........I guess we don't know what we might come back looking like, if we can come back.

evil twin:  I wouldn't worry too much--as far as I know, like you said, no one has ever been harmed by the things they see.  I just talked to my mom back home today, and we talked about the wierd thing that happens to both of us --waking up and thinking someone is knocking on the door, window, or side of the house...  The knock wakes us up!
  • starchini said on Oct 10, 2007....

Evil- i totally believe in that stuff.  I believe that only special people are able to see the other side.  Open minded, spiritual people mainly.  Ive had a fascination with fairies since i was 8.  I was spending the night at my grandmas and she had a jungle in the guest room i was in.  Great big leafy potted plants everywhere.  I woke up in the late night to music.  I heard very soft quiet fiddles or string instruments and giggling.  It was dark and i was looking around the room trying to see where it was coming from.  Then my eyes started to adjust to the dark and i saw it.  LITTLE PEOPLE, dancing on my grandmother leafy plants.  I watched them all night.

    Crazy huh?

  • Mamie said on Oct 10, 2007....
oh, you are not nuts Kyle. I believe that the veil between our reality and the world of those who have passed is very thin and easily accessible for a few people. It is a gift of seeing. If this happens again, remain as you did very still, but with your mind, just ask with love and peace what you should know about this and you will know. I t may be protection, it may be a guardian angel, it could be a relative that you have not even met.
I did see my grandmother after she passed but altho I knew it was her it did not look just like her...looked like a yonger version or something. I told my mom (its her mother) but then thought nothing of it as if it was a dream...only to find a picture at my aunts house of her (G-ma) at her graduation. THAT is the girl I saw. I have dreamt of her since then and it is always in that age. She is beautiful and very smily...which makes me happy, although we don't say a word...ask your new friend what you need to know and he will be gone. good luck!
It is sorta creepy when it is happening!

EvilT, this is just the kind of post that people love to jump on. Everyone has a story, a theory or interest in such a thing. I like the idea of interdimensional travelers myself, though I can't guess why that person would just appear in your bedroom and watch Natalie sleep, unless it was someone she knows or will know in the future who was coming back to check up on her. You know how being invisible means that light must bend around you? Well, maybe dimension jumping for brief visits means you completely absorb light but are not actually there. Your presense is like a hole in time/space where no light can pass in or out, so you appear just as a dark mass. Hey, I think you have another story in the works here. At first I was thinking it's time to move but maybe this house is your ticket to becoming a successful science fiction and horror thriller writer!

You know this might sound weird to you and to others but in our country we organise a ritual before moving in to a new place on a auspicious day. Its said to bring good luck and attract positive energies. Its not that I'm overtly religious or anything but I do believe in energies that surround you.

Tweenie......i saw what it might be easily called a ghost... i saw it 10 years ago...in the first home i lived in here in Tx....when we rented that home my husband looked at it and talked with the landlord. He didnt tell me that the previous renteres were a family which son, a teen ager, committed suicide in the house. Thats why they left...

Everything went on fine until one morning i got back from grocery with my daughter. I walked in front of the kitchen to go to her bedroom and when i turned my head i clearly saw a shape...it looked like a young man, thin and in the action of opening the cabinet . He turned his head when i looked and his expression was so sad...so lost...

I can see him clearly in front of my eyes ...i didnd get scared at all..i remember thinking , odd, i saw a boy in the kitchen.....this is the most strange thing......my complete lack of fear or surprise...

I think i felt he was not going to harm me or my family......go figure...

I never saw him again..nothing weird happened until few months later my daughter started to wake up several times in the middle of the night...one night i decided to not immediately enter in her room..i waited outside for a little while...and i heard her soflyu giggling...when i got in she was standing on her crib and lookign intensely but smiling to the wall in front of her....she wasn't scared ..just perfeclty awake and like she was listening to something....

    then nothing more...

    What do you think?

  • dailyachesandpains said on Oct 10, 2007....
E_T:  I believe in this "Stuff" and it freaks me the hell out!
Did you think about contacting a "medium" or anything?
I hate to tell you my long story...but, here goes:

When my Grandmother (who I was VERY close to) was going in for surgery, I had a hard time.  I had a hard time sitting with her the night before, playing cards and talking to her.  I was SO scared that something would happen that I asked her to do something for me if something did happen...I asked her if she would still call me like she did.

    BIG FREAKING MISTAKE!!!

Something happened to her, but it was a couple of months after her first operation when she passed away, after suffering from a massive stroke.

It started when I was pregnant with Little D, literally started the night I found out I was pregnant with her.

The phone would ring...ALWAYS when MR. D. was out working his PM job, or playing hockey.

The caller ID read "C(aller)ID ERROR"

When I picked it up...(I hate even typing this) WHITE NOISE!!!

This would happen when/if my Sisters or Niece were visiting me while Mr. D. was out and I would show them the caller ID and answer it on speaker phone.  It didn't matter if they were there, or not, though.

My Niece was so freaked out, she would not go to bed until she knew Mr. D. was home with me.  One of my Sisters and my Niece (her daughter) lived below where we lived.

Mr. D. was there the night I asked my Grandmother to still call me and he rolled his eyes so far into the back of his head and my Grandmother said
"Don't think I won't call my baby if I'm not breathing!"

Well, Mr. D. was getting sick of it, it went on for months and always when he wasn't home.  One night he flipped out that I was so emotional over it that he called out into the open air
"C'mon, I believe you call her, but you're not calling me and I'm sorry!"

Literally when his "sorry" came out the phone rang and he got to see the caller ID and hear it for himself.  He dropped the phone and I cried as I was saying "SEE, I told you!  It SCARES ME!"

So, something had to be done and I contacted a medium.  I didn't tell her what was going on, she told ME!  I told her that I was scared, that's all I said.  She told me that I had to ask her to stop calling me, to say it outloud, and that I love her and that it scared me and she didn't have to call me, that I know she watches over me, etc.  I did what she told me to do and the calls stopped.

Yes, during this entire time, we had the phone company out a gazillion times.  Nothing from them.  After no technical reason why, they went over my incoming call lists and they had incoming calls that showed up "NO DATA"  on their reports with the date and time...they couldn't explain it, just that it was an incoming call.

I sleep with the TV on now.  I live in a house that's 100 years old and I've swon I've seen those shadows.  I know exactly what you're talking about.  Little D. wouldn't go into her playroom for the longest time and makes me shut the door to it when she goes to bed.  Almost every single picture I had taken of this house when we were looking at it, has "orbs" in the photo.  I know, it could be dust, but I think it could be either as I'm a believer.

These things won't hurt you guys!

ET, one thing I like in your post is that you hesitated to write about this because you thought we may think you're nuts, but then you realized you didn't care.

    That's the spirit!

Every time I share one of my opinions, a whole crew of people think I'm nuts, but what do I care?  I'm right, they're wrong, screw it.  That's the way I see it.

You know the old saying "Eat shit, a billion flies can't be wrong."  That sums up what I think of the world's opinion.

And about the specific issue, ghosts or spirits, I obviously believe that they are as real as we are.  Just watch a few episodes of Lisa Williams Life Among The Dead, which I've already described as the best tv series ever to be aired, better than Sopranos, better than Mash, better than Taxi, better than Cosby, better than SNL, better than Ed Sullivan.  Lisa is amazing.

Sorry evil_twin, but I’m a skeptic at heart. I don’t doubt that you saw something, but I know from personal experience that such things are usually tricks of the mind. I’ve seen odd things in my dark room, particularly as my mind transitions between consciousness and unconsciousness, but my skepticism thwarts premature leaps to paranormal explanations. Give me some sort of evidence that something unusual was there, and then I’ll entertain the notion.

On the other hand, you mentioned that you already have a strong belief in the paranormal. Your observations could be a confirmation bias.

Hot:  YEAH, I did.  I said "Hi Babcia, I love you!"  It was like whatever it was, and I believe it was her, was happy and decided to call more often!  However, I did not like the time difference from where she is to where we are.  I almost feel guilty about having it stopped, but being preggers and home alone when this would happen (even if my sisters were there) FRRRREAKED me out!  After a while it turned out to be a show when Mr. D. would go out.  Everyone would come up and wait for the phone to ring.  Sometimes it did, sometimes it didn't.

Later, a few years later actually, we watched the movie "White Noise" and OMG, I had all I could to sit through it.  My Sisters were saying "You should have taped it!"  WTHeck!?!  As if I knew that there could have been a hidden message under the noise!!!!

Could've been a trick of the mind or could've been a spirit....probably a spirit watching Natalie...maybe someone related to her that passed on?  As long as your believes in God are strong then there's nothing to fear except the unknown.
I would be pleased to know that someone was watching over me like that so I wouldn't worry if I were you.
    Keep the faith,

evil hiya, I have no theory for you, but I do have a very similar experience... when I was about 15 living at home and I had a little yorkie like I do now, I woke up in the middle of the night to a black solid shadow of what I made out to be a little boy, the scariest thing was he was aiming a catapult at me!!  seriously, I tried to convince myself I was dreaming but like you I was certain it was real, and my dog was on the end of the bed growling at this thing!!
It never happened again, I havn't even thought about it in years but your post sparked up the memory!!

Hi, Well I guess that I am so far out of the 'matrix' that it surprises me when things like this don't happen.................. I'm psychic--and I see ghosts, spirits etc and feel them very strongly when I don't see them....... There are stories from my friends also. One girl saw a man who came to tell her about tragedies about to happen in the family--she found a picture --it was her grandfather................... Another friend of mine, saw her mother's ghost and said "I miss you." The ghost said, exactly like the mother would have "So what do you want me to do about it!".......We lived for years in the city of Tzfat and it is haunted --someone told me about being annoyed by a ghost in the old city, the doors and windows would open and close and she put up with it until a ghost decided to get into her bed! She took her daughter and moved into a friend's house the next morning.............. The first walk I ever took in Tzfat brought me to an alley way and I suddenly couldn't breathe and barely could move. This happened each time we walked there, day or night. When I learned the history of this area I found that in 1929 there was a terrible massacre of the Jews by their Arab neighbors (sometimes their Arab clients, students etc). This left an impression on the whole area--I would not go down some streets at night at all................. A very strong psychic woman (who is a Reiki healer) told me that she couldn't deal with that area either since it is so haunted........Another Tzfat story, a ghost would come and play with the children's toy instruments at night, the uncle made the family move out quickly..........In NY, in one place we lived, there was some sort of house elf or spirit that did only one thing: it imitated sounds :my voice to my husband, his voice to me, the answering machine message to both of us, birds, a cat, etc--a spirit mocking bird thingee. Once I was very ill-after one of the miscarriages I endured-- and I was lying in bed and I heard my own voice saying "mitzy kitzy" over and over--Mitzy was the non original name of a beloved cat that was on the bed (it is the standard Israeli children's story name of a cat). I couldn't see anything, but I said to it "Aren't you ashamed of yourself bothering me when I am sick like this!" We didn't hear a squeak from it for 6 months after that...................Our Rabbi who is a kabbalist once told me that between sleeping and waking we are often open to things between the worlds...............There are many worlds around us: we are in the world called Asiyah--or Doing, in which there are all sorts of entities, the world above us spiritually is the world of Atzira--or Creativity--the world of music, art etc... that can be accessed by people who want to access it--ever get into a rhyming fixation ? Above that, spiritually, is the world of Briyah -which means literally "creation" but it is the world of intellect. The world above that is Atzilut--a world of spirituallity...... Then there are other dimensions to our world level --so there are so many possibilities-- we could be seing ghosts--visiting or stuck here temporarily, demons or Shedim--who are found in all cultures described amazingly the same way, or thought forms --left from a trauma in the past--I saw someone being lowered down into a fire pit when I was trying to eat a sandwich at a break at a girls' boarding school where I was teaching--my Reiki friend said :"Don't freak out, just think of it as a movie--that's how they executed people in the Babylonian Empire". It did freak me out but she was used to that sort of trauma-created thought form.. Sorry if this is so long, I was thinking about blogging about this stuff but kept putting it of.

dude, i'm a bit of a skeptic w/ this stuff, myself. if you see this again though, try to talk with it. or try reading it something, something printed. in a dream, supposedly, you cannot read (left brain/right brain thing) so that would preclude the possibility of your dreaming this. as to speaking with it: well, you can't know its intentions w/out more information, and the best way to get more is to ask questions, no? :>

cutie--I don't know if it could be your grandmother or not. It didn't seem like it to me, but like you said, who knows what people might look like?

wombat--When you put it in the perspective that no one has ever actually gotten hurt by something like this, it does make it seem silly to be afraid of it. And I've had experiences like that with the knocking too! It is weird, isn't it?

starchini--That is definitely an interesting story! I've never seen anything like that before. I think the idea of fairies is cool, but I never really knew if they were real or not. But Skald actually posted some really interesting pictures of what appeared to be fairies, awhile back. It was really cool!

mamie--I believe like you do that spirits can come back to watch over and protect us. I believe my grandparents do this for me. I've felt them. But this thing wasn't them. I guess it was more the feeling I got from this that unnerved me more than anything. I do hope it was just watching and nothing else.

hotaka--That is an interesting theory! I've never actually given much thought to things like that before now. But I suppose anything is possible. I don't think I wanna be a horror writer though!

desertmermaid--I'd be interested to hear more about this ritual you're talking about. It sounds interesting. Can you do it after you've already moved in?

ginger--That's a cool story! I've had a similar experience actually. My niece used to have a 'friend' she'd speak to all the time and play with. She could describe him in detail and said he lived in her closet. He was blonde and liked trains. And once, my brother and I actually saw him standing in the hallway. But of course, there was no boy. Not a living boy. The house was empty and they only have one child. That didn't scare me though. I thought that was incredibly cool. But he looked like a regular person, whereas this thing I saw the other night, didn't.

daily--Your story is incredibly cool, yet freaky! I have no words. I can't even imagine what it would be like to get phone calls like that, especially when you'd asked for them. Wow. I totally believe it though. I can see why it freaked you out though. I do think it would have been interesting if you could have taped the calls and seen if a voice came through. That's amazing!

lfbno--Are you proud of me? For once I decided I didn't really care what anyone thought! It's about time. Maybe you're rubbing off on me? :-P I did know that you believe all of this, and so do I. I wonder what  Lisa Williams would say about shadow people?

anitmatter--I respect your opinion. And you very well could be right. It could have been a trick of my mind, or me wanting to see something because I do believe it's possible. It sure felt real though. But with the absence of any sort of evidence like a photo or a video of what I saw, I obviously can't prove what I saw. I wish I could, because for my own piece of mind, I'd like to know if it was really there or just my imagination.

rollingC--I would love to think it was a relative or something watching over her. That would be very comforting. But I'm the type of person who can pick up vibes pretty well, and this didn't feel comforting. I think that's why it was so unnerving.

destiny--That really is spooky! I think that would have freaked me out too if the shadow was aiming a weapon at me. Luckily this one didn't do that!

Trinov--Your comment was very interesting! And I have to say that this was not my first experience with something I'd consider ghostly. But I have never seen anything exactly like this before. I'd love to read more of your stories about this though. You've experienced a lot!

pickers--I read that post you linked and the comments too. I just have to say that your son that you mentioned, the one who can feel emotions strongly and read people? That's just like me. Maybe that explains why some people think I'm too sensitive? But it's just that I can feel things that no one else can feel most of the time. Your son and I have something in common.

kruu--Nothing has moved around yet, but we have had other experiences. Like doors closing by themselves and electronic gadgets operating without batteries in them. But this was the first time I actually saw something.

  • evil_twin said on Oct 11, 2007....
silver--You bring up a good point. And you're not the only person I've talked to who has told me I should have asked it what it wanted. Hindsight! I was just too shocked to even think straight at the time. But that's a good idea about trying to read something to test if I'm awake or asleep. I will keep these things in mind. I just hope I don't see it again!

  • hotaka said on Oct 11, 2007....

Well, the funny thing is that people say they see these things but they get so freaked out that they never ask any questions. Has anyone ever been killed by a ghost? Can they hurt you? I think they just freak us out. So next time offer some stale biscuits and sour milk and say, "Yo, yo, my freaky man! I see you chilling in my chamber. Whassup, my shady pal? How can I do you for?"

Then wait and see what happens. If things look dangerous then bust a move outta there.

  • evil_twin said on Oct 11, 2007....
silver--I just hope if I talk to it, it doesn't growl at me or something!

hotaka--That is a good point. I mentioned that to Wombat too. No one has ever been killed by a ghost before. Of course, I have read things where ghosts do attack and try to hurt people. But so far, this thing was just standing there. It's kinda dumb to be afraid, right? I guess it's just the creep factor and the unknown.

evil~ yeah it was pretty spooky! my dad once was woke up in the night and unable to move, he kinda nudged my mum awake to point out this man sitting in their bedroom, dressed in olden clothes he was asking them to call the fire brigrade, a few minutes later there was a huge crash outside their house, a lorry had overturned and was on fire, when they first told me the story I was pretty skeptical, but my mind is a lot more open now than a few years ago, my mum n dad have so many spooky tales like that, I think thats why my mum is a little weary of me exploring that side of things, she has plenty of experiences, but doesnt really understand any of it.  my dads grandparents were both mediums so there is defo something in his genes! :-) my grandma is like you too, (my dads mum)  she picks up on everything, she has never liked my ex, over the years she has pretty much said he isnt right for you, he will do you no good etc..  when we broke up she was really relieved, her words were 'that type drain your soul '
I need to go and spend a few hours quizzing her I think on the ways of the world :-) xx

  • wombat said on Oct 11, 2007....

evil twin:  Well, I say as far as I know, no one has been hurt--you do read weird things that people have claimed, I guess.  And, I had forgotten about the time I was scraping out that bowl of left-overs, squatted down at the edge of the woods behind my house.  The leaves sort of started swirling on the ground, and I froze thinking it was a snake.  Then someone pushed me hard on my back and I tipped over.  I jumped up and turned to yell at my kid for scaring me like that!   But--no one was home but me.  Unless I was imagining that hand that pushed hard on my back--imagining enough to push my own self over--then a "ghost" pushed me.  I had already thought we had one in the house.  The old lady who lived there for years died, and we bought the house.  She was a hermit and kept her garbage in the house even, so I heard.  I would come home and unlock the door, and hear someone getting up off our squeaky bed.

Anyway, being no expert on this or anything else, I shouldn't claim that no one has ever been hurt by an experience like this.   And, I think I did feel physical contact that time.  At least she didn't push me down a well or something...ha... I think she just wanted me out of her house!  I ended up nearly having a breakdown there, which led to a divorce, so she got her wish.

“And I'm sure that a lot of experiences people have with ghosts and spirits can be explained away with something more scientific and logical. But there are other experiences that you just can't explain.” No offence but that statement is a very tragic and very fashionable use of the words: logical, scientific, explain. There is nothing fundamentally unscientific or illogical about what we call paranormal. When some one who pretends to be a scientist or pretends to be rational says that there has to be logical explanation to the paranormal, that is a very strong clue that they are more superstitious then scientific.

A peace e of advice on my experiences with such things: Fear is the root of any power it may have over you. Do not be paralyzed or controlled by fear examine the creature scientifically and completely and it should pose no threat. Of course fear has a use and that technique may not be as effective with a very powerful and very small minority of such things. Thanks for sharing ;:)

Hi, maybe I'll blog on this subject too. The British Psychic Society( or something like that in the 19th century) did a lot of experiements in this field. I read a bit about them about 30 years ago, but I don't have any notes from those stories. There used to be a Hebrew psychic magazine but it doesn't seem to exist anymore... But Gorge Nori's website "Coast to Coast radi"o has things on ghosts etc......."Sightings" used to have people who had equipment to record ghost voices and the sentences were very clear.....When I was doing research on the topic of the so-called "Lost" Tribes (G-d doesn't loose anybody) I read a lot of folklore from around the world --and there is a folklore data base of categorized stories and themes, and some phenomena were simply identical no matter where you looked-like using metal objects and vulgarity to get free of the attentions of demons ---etc. So like it or not we are not the only creations bopping around here. ......(According to Jewish folklore there are house elves too, and I wonder how much of Rowlings magical world isn't real..)
  • evil_twin said on Oct 11, 2007....
destiny--That's really interesting about your families history being mediums and stuff. I can see where that might scare some people if they don't fully understand what's happening to them. And you should always trust your grandmother and anyone else who gets strong feelings like that! We're usually right about people :-P

wombat--That's kind of spooky! Being pushed over by something you didn't see? But that's the type of thing I've heard about before and why it is unnerving to have an experience with something that doesn't feel friendly. What if it can hurt us? You just never know!

simplyklo--It is pretty creepy to think about!

skymir--Fear is pretty powerful. And I guess if I wasn't afraid of what I saw,  it wouldn't have much power, would it?

trinov--It sounds like you know a lot about this! I would be interested in hearing more about it if you decide to blog it.

Interesting stories everyone, without a doubt.
I am one of those 'skeptics' everyone talks about. Although I am a bit on the border of it to be honest.
My mother used to tell me of things her family did when she was growing up that are viewed as some sort of 'mystical'. She's also told me of different things to do or not to do when confronted with some sort of apparition.
Some of these things make sense, yet some, well, not so much.

I've had a few experiences, most don't really qualify as your typical ghost stories type though.
Always found this sort of thing fascinating regardless.

E_T:  We (MY family) are all hooked on Ghost Hunters, Most Haunted and all those shows.  Mr. Daily actually begged me to stop watching them.  After I watch these shows, I want to call TAPS and have them come in and do an investigation in our house!

    skymir--Yes, I suppose it is.

pontius--I'm also curious what you're not supposed to do when you see an apparition. And also, what you should do. I'd be interested to hear that word of advice.

daily--I love Ghosthunters! It would be awesome if TAPS came to your house. Did you watch last night? Did you see the shadow person they caught on film? That was very similar to what I saw.

kruu--We rent it. But we still have a ways to go on our lease. And the place is really nice and the location is awesome. We really don't want to move. But if things get really weird, we might think about it!
  • boogiebear22 said on Oct 11, 2007....
I have experienced this many times and the house I grew up in. I don't believe it is anything that can harm you, but I believe that it may have negative energy attached to it. You should watch the show Ghost Hunters on the Sci-Fi network if you get that out in California. I watch it every Wednesday and it's pretty interesting as well as informative. I hope you aren't disturbed. I know it freaked me out.
  • evil_twin said on Oct 11, 2007....
boogie--I watch that show every week. And I saw the shadow person they caught on film last night! That was pretty close to what I saw too. In that case, they believed it to be a good spirit of the little girls mom. That actually made me feel better because that showed it was possible for this thing to actually be good, even if it was creepy looking!
  • Pontius_Pilate said on Oct 11, 2007....
Well, I will say the few things I can recall. She has told me quite a bit over the years, only so much actually stuck for some reason. lol
One thing was if you were unsure to the outlook of the apparition, you needed to be careful actually talking to it directly. Some say that if you attempt to talk with it, it can take that as an acceptance on allowing it to posses you. Which can be something all on its own. If/when the time comes when you must,  you should talk at it, not to it.
i.e. Talk to the room/house etc. Explain what it is you expect, what you want. Explain your side to a minor degree.
I used the 2nd example once, many years ago.
Lived in a house where every male was hurt physically, not minor injuries, broken/sprained bones, stiches etc. Not a single female in the house was hurt. Ever. Even when they really should have been, they nothing more than a minor bruise.
I went to a room that seemed to be the 'center' and offered peace and that we were not there to take the home from them, just that we wanted to live there and were trying to repair the place a  bit to make it livable.
    Nothing happened, to anyone, afterwards.
Vacantmind lived there, not sure what her opinion is/was on it though, never really talked about it.

Think the biggest thing is to not directly attempt conversation, talk to the area, attempt to make peace if you get bad vibes from it.

Sorry if this is not much help, about the major of what I can recall right now.
  • evil_twin said on Oct 11, 2007....
pontius--I do think that's pretty good advice. I admit that I've tried talking to things before, but never directly. More like talking the room, just as you said. Mostly because I couldn't actually see anything, but I knew it was there. Like when a door would close by itself or something to that effect. I knew something was there, but I didn't actually see it. I am definitely going to consider trying this tactic if I see this thing again. Thanks for sharing this.

Oh this was fun to read.  How scary!  Stuff like that freaks me out to much, I'm just alone so much that I can't watch tv shows about this stuff or movies too.  Just reading about it is ok, but whenever my mom tells me something she's seen, that freaks me out too.  What helps is that I think about my dad and figure he's probably watching out for me and wouldn't let stuff like that scare me.  Anywayz, I think it might be something, I've read all the weird things you've said about your place and it's to strange!  I wonder if it has something to do with the tree, did you ever go look at?  I totally know what you mean about a bad feeling from something.  I've had that a few times and it really bothers me, because I can't control how I feel.  I saw a big semi truck on the side of the road with firefighters and stuff putting out the fire from it, and I got this horrible horrible feeling from it, like I kind of knew the driver died from it. Then in England I got a simliar feeling from walking through one particularly old part of Westminster Abbey.  Hope it turns out to be nothing or something nice!

Kyle we generally do it before moving in. An auspicious day is selected and then on that day a ritual is organised you know to please the gods and spirits. Its a tradition here. It is said to keep evil things at bay, bring good luck and positive energies in the house.

But I believe an alternate to this can be done by those who do it you know cleasing the house of inauspicious stuff and all. Its not that I am a huge believer or something. Its just a common practice here. Wish you luck in whatever you decide to do. Meanwhile hope you guys sleep in peace :)

ET, We all have something in common.  I often try to deny it or keep it a secret because I don't want anyone to think I'm crazy.  That fortune telling thing really threw me.  I do it every once in a while, purely to entertain people.  It's scary when I'm so accurate.  The type of telling I do, was taught to me by my aunt.  She lived in Germany during World War Two, her younger brother was killed by the Nazis because he was disabled.  She and her friends used to telll each other's fortunes to pass the time.

This particular card reading relies not only on the cards, but on the conversation with the person you are reading.  It's not a trick or anything, I usually tell the person what a card could mean and we work from there.

In this case, the woman, whose cards I was reading, kept denying that anything bad was going on.  I persisted with the younger man being sick scenario and finally I gave up and said something like, "Oh well, I can't always figure out what the cards mean, they just say that you're very worried about some guy who's younger than you are and I don't see any resolution."

She shook her head and looked at me like I was nuts so I thought, "Oops, I better stop."  I folded the cards and didn't tell any more fortunes that night.

Her younger brother passed away a few months later and it made me sick to my stomach that I had told her.

And yet, I continue to keep quiet.  Other than telling my Mom, because she loves paranomal happenings, this is the only place I've discussed it.

  • evil_twin said on Oct 12, 2007....
ninja--I don't know if this has anything to do with our tree or not. But I definitely feel like something is going on in this house. Luckily the last few days have been quiet though. I've had those same bad feelings you described too.

desert--I'm pretty familiar with cleansing a house and what that entails. I was just curious if you knew something different! I'm going to try cleaning up the place with sage this weekend. Let's hope it works!

pickers--Someone really close to me had the same type of reading ability you described. If you have that sort of gift, you don't really need the cards. It just gives you something to focus your energy on. I've been read like this before myself and it was really cool how accurate it was and the amount of information the other person could get from me. I totally don't think you're nuts at all. In fact, I've freaked out a few people myself when I seem to know more than I should. I can't help it though because it's just something that happens to me.

One Christmas, my brother was telling the family about a dream he had, but he swore he was awake- but kept reasoning it HAD to be a dream.  He woke up and at the foot of his bed was a woman wearing a light blue dress- he couldn't make out the facial features but knew it was a woman because of her wearing a light blue dress.. he said she told him "everything will be OK" and seemed to float away- well my father's face went pale.. other family members were joking but my father just sat there, white.

I asked if he was alright- he didn't say anything but looked at my mother, and they both had this weird look about them.. I didn't like it!

My father told us that his mother was buried in a light blue dress, and she was waked in that house that my brother was now renting from my aunt... it gave me chills!

None of us kids knew our Grandmother, she died before my parents were married, and none of us knew they used to hold wakes in homes back then, and of course, none of us knew what she was buried in - Prior to seeing this "woman" my brother used to say he'd wake up to the TV blaring a religious channel about 3 AM every now and then.. turns out my Grandmother was a VERY religious woman..

    weird huh

queen--I think that most of the time, the spirits I've felt and/or seen, have been people. And they never really scared me. But this thing just seemed really creepy and not like anything else I'd seen. I hope it stays away!

Kruu:  Yeah, she would, lol!  Only if my Parent's weren't around.  She was married to a sailor, lol!

E_T:  I missed it!  I also missed Most Haunted last night!  I don't like Most Haunted that much because they're looking for it and are very dramatic.  Ghost Hunters I love because they're looking to squash the idea of "something" being there.  However, I've seen a couple where they were shocked and I was freaking out, lol!

We're not far from Salem, MA and on the local cable channel they do ALL things haunted this time of year.  The lady that holds that "White Noise" tape that says "I love you" through the noise, she was on it last year at the "most haunted" light house in CT.  They didn't find anything though.  I believe TAPS went there at one time too and didn't find anything.

I could never have TAPS come to my house.  If we were to sell it, and someone asked if it was haunted and TAPS thought it was, we'd have to tell them if they asked, lol!

    BOO!

daily--I visited Salem once! I found it really fascinating there. I didn't see any ghosts though. It's too bad you missed that ep. of Ghosthunters! It was a good one. At least the first story they featured. The second one was pretty much a bust. But they did catch a shadow person. And you could actually see it materialize like from the ground up. It was freaky! But I see why you wouldn't want to have TAPS come out and declare your place haunted! Though some people might find that cool and you could charge admission for tours of the place!
  • dailyachesandpains said on Oct 13, 2007....

E_T:  I'm sure I'll catch it on a re-run.  I wonder if they'll have the marathon on Halloween...love those!  Nah...nobody would want to tour this place, lol.  Even if it is declared haunted.

Growing up around here, Salem is the last place you want to go, lol.  We were taken there almost EVERY year in grade school for field trips.  I would have to drive out there to the courts to do deed research later in life and WOW how that place changed!  I would never do any work there in the month of October or the beginning of November.  It was impossible to park anywhere and the swarms of people and tour groups...that was scary!

daily--I was in Salem in September, so I guess I missed the crowds! Just barely though! I live in a tourist spot too so I totally understand your frustration with all the extra people. It sucks!

desert--You weren't stating the obvious! I was really curious about what you had to say :-) I'm always open to learning to new things.

I dont think it has anything to do with sanity or insanity, a spirit world does exist. I remember growing up as a child id always see shadow people in my room at night but they would not frighten me, id just go back to sleep. I could never understand why, also i would see people i already knew in my house, like one time i was playing dolls with a friend of mine from school and usually i did this with another little friend of mine but that day i did not invite her to come over as this other girl was visiting us with her grandma. well as i sat on the floor with the dolls i looked up at the mirror in our room which was facing the door to the room and i clearly saw my other little friend staring at me and i said to her hey what are you doing here and i clearly saw her turn around and run off so i got up immediately and started after her and went to the living room and asked my mom "where did my friend go, did she leave?" and my mother said, what do you mean, she was not here, so then the old lady got scared and started to pray and i kept insisting she ran out the door and my mom assured me she had not been there..... other similar events occured all thru out my life time, it was very weird and to this day i dont have an explanation for it cause these people were alive...

then there was the time when as teenagers we began to experiment with the Wiji board... now thats a whole other story and the time when i saw the shadow of death.... that was very scary...

so no, defintely your not insane....lol..... unless we all are.....lol.... kidding :)

  • evil_twin said on Oct 16, 2007....
gypsy--That's an interesting story! I wonder what that would be called since the people you saw weren't dead? Some kind of psychic vision or connection to them? That's kinda cool! I've got lots of strange Ouija board stories too. I won't use one anymore because some of the stuff was just too freaky!

E_T:  Mr. D. and I went to VT for a couple of days (just got home today).  We stayed in a "Castle" (mini-mansion if you ask me) that was owned by the first Governor of VT.  When we first checked into our room, the phone started ringing a double ring, lol!  He said

"I thought you told her to stop calling you!?"

I told him I did, but Kruu thought maybe I should ask her again, lol!  It got to a point where we had to call the front desk.  They couldn't fix it.  So, since we had our cell phones, we knew that if anything was wrong w/Little D. we could be reached and ended up having to unplug the phone!!!

I feel so wrong (in a funny way)!  I couldn't help but laugh though!

daily--Wow, you really got more weird phone calls? That's so freaky! I think she wanted to see how you were enjoying your trip. Or maybe she wanted you to send her a postcard? That's kinda cool actually. But I'm glad you unplugged the phone so you could have some peace and quiet!

evil twin:  Just to let you know I posted something very much related to this post for you and nursecutie.  If you have time, please check it out--may offer some explanations for you.  It certainly did for me!

Whoops, didn't post the link, but just click on Wombat's posts--it is titled Sleep Paralysis, Hallucinations and other Terrors.

Thanks ahead of time, if you stop by

Holy crap dude! A lot of people liked this blog didn't they?

Personally I think this is nothing to worry about. I've seen weirder shit than that. But if it happens again, just throw your pillow at it and see what happens.

If it goes all medieval on your ass, then you got a problem. If it disappears then you either imagined it or it's scared of pillows.

At least it didn't look like a clown....

  • evil_twin said on Oct 17, 2007....
Mr Box--You're still here, eh? I hope you're enjoying this. I gotta hand it to you though. I was cracking up over "maybe it's scared of pillows" I'll remember that next time, oh wise one. And if it looked like a clown, I would have probably died.

Well I know that I am a bit late in posting here but you might be interested in reading my post about 7's.  It is pretty interesting.  I have another really odd story about an angel that helped us one night.  But to your question.  I am a believer and like one of your other commenters, a bit of a psychic.   I don't think it was a ghost, I think it was probably one of her guides that was watching, perhaps even watching what she dreamt.

Daily:  you REALLY need to read my post about the 7's and my telephone calls.
  • evil_twin said on Oct 30, 2007....
inspiration--I found that post you mentioned about the 7's! That was very strange. I think the number 7 has always been associated with good things though. At least it wasn't about 6's! That's interesting about the spirit guide idea. You could be right. I don't really know a whole lot about that though....

I don't know who or what you shadow visitor was, but....
    A question for you?
Why do you assume it was hostile?
Couldn't that have been a friend?
    (Or at least benign stranger?)
Our world is what it is, at any given moment of our existence, precisely due to a number of factors, lol.
(Yah sometimes I talk funny like that!)
    But.....
One of the most prominent 'factorings in', are our very own thoughts, both conscious and unconscious ones.
We become what we think and that creates our world(s)
How to replace all the negative indoctrination we get stuffed with ever since we were suckling babies, and replace it with positive one, or boldly go outside the indoctrination realm and move into the Truth(s) and the actual realities, I do not know.
We can find out though, and that is really why we are here, to find out.
Not to digress further, I don't think you are crazy at all.
Not one bit, and for crying out loud, think positive, don't let fear paralyse you from seeing what the shadow being was trying to bring to the light!
    Is Natalie your partner?
Are you a woman or a man?
Are these questions out of line, considering this is a 'uncensored anonymity' kind of place??
  • evil_twin said on Nov 25, 2007....
karta--You have a good point. I don't know if it was hostile or not. But fear takes over when something weird and unexplained happens. Especially if it's an intrusion into your space like that. I'm over it now though. It hasn't happened again. At least that I'm aware of. And I am a man, and Natalie is my fiancee.
  • karta.devera said on Nov 25, 2007....
@evil--Hey, congrats, and thank you. From a human point of view, yes it was intrusion,
but what if the kind of creature that was visiting you was never human.
It would not know it will freak you out, until it saw that, and maybe
that's why it's gone now. I'm just guessing here....My point being, who
says that things are what we always thought they were, what if we can
shift an entire Cosmos, our own, just by learning that things can be
considered and "thought of" differently than we are used to.What if all
the difference in the world between pain and suffering and struggle and
flying trough the air like one of those cute fairy cartoon characters
is believing and/or think certain things we were programmed to believe
    and/or think??
Of course it's never as simple or straight forward as I just made it sound, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't try it out.
What if thew being was there to bless you and Natali, or treat some
illness one of you was starting to develop, what if that was a guardian
of some sort, and too much accumulated fear in both of you sopped you
    from sensing that?
Awww.....I talk a lot, bare with me.
God Bless you both and UNAGIIIIIII

I am loving this place, so glad I've discovered it.
G'luck with 'your beings', all of them!
    :))
  • evil_twin said on Nov 25, 2007....
karta--I like the way you're looking at this. And I suppose you could be right. It might have been a guardian of some sort. That's a lot more comforting than the alternative. Thank you for your input :-) And I'm glad you're enjoying this place!

What I think I'm describing is something external that has its own power source....
Those of mankind, who study and theorize where crop circles come from and what they mean, have taken no note of the writing nor those symbols within the circles. They can't see the holy angel to the right because they are blinded to what is being revealed...
