It was a pretty weird dream, and the first thing I thought when I woke up was, Oh man, I gotta blog about this!

I can still picture it very clearly. Two gorillas and I, all dressed in lovely pink tutus, were doing magnificent back flips and swan dives off a ledge and landing smack in the middle of my bed.  I loved it!  It was just so wacky, and we looked just stunning in our tutus.  I hope they had glitter on them.

This certainly begs the question, how did these talented gorillas get in my bedroom in the first place?  Did I let them in?  Did I serve them tea and bananas?  Yikes, maybe wrestling a gorilla into a tutu is considered inhumane.  They do love that frilly girl stuff so it shouldn't be that hard to do.  Is PETA going to picket my house?

I blame the tutus on my friend Mamie.  We were wearing tutus and practicing our graceful ballet moves yesterday.  But the gorillas?  That's a mystery to me.

Well, it's obvious to me that 5 a.m. is much too early to wake up.  So my raggedy bunnikins and I are going back to bed.

Mamie, I left the tutus in the mailbox.

Wait a minute there MissMimi! That was all real. You hit the bottle a little on the heavy side. The three of us sat in your living room chatting about our love for pink tutus. That definately wasnt tea you were serving. Mamie and I woke the guys at the costume shop and got the gorilla costumes but you absolutely refused to put your s on. The people at teh dance supply - we used the one where Daily gets the outfits for Little Daily - were no to pleased with us disturbing them at that hour. The bed diving was just a way to burn off energy. We really must do this again soon.

What a dream! :-D Did you get into my bag of freaky chips, Mimi?

Well, Botty, that certainly explains the footprints on the ceiling, now doesn't it?  Next time, you should wear your purple satin gown, but make sure you have on your pink glitterthong-- just in case the hem of your gown ends up over your head when you attempt one of those double backflips.

I think I need Kruu to interpret this dream for me.

LOL, Infernal, no, no freaky chips.  Can you imagine how bizarre it would have been under the influence of freaky chips?

Kewpie, it really was very silly.  :D

hmmm how could one interpret that dream?? LOL
  • evil_twin said on Oct 06, 2007....
Mimi what did you eat before bedtime? :-P I'll try my hand at interpreting it for you though. Gorillas are a sign of primitive impulses and repressed sexual energy! I couldn't find anything specifically about pink tutus but seeing a ballerina dressed up suggests you worry that you are unable to live up to societies ideal of beauty. And pink is a happy color of love and joy. And a bed represents your intimate self and the discovery of your sexuality.

    Hmm...interesting dream! :-P

Oh what a crazy dream, did you wake up laughing?
  • polarheart said on Oct 06, 2007....
Welcome to Polar's Drivell Dream Interpretations:  Gorillas in a dream speak of the need for something dark and hairy e.g. an old piece of mouldy bread left in a warm wet cupboard. . .two gorillas mean you are in serious need of penicillin since that would be a lot of dark hairiness!  Pink tutus in a dream speak of the need to go to the ballet :-))

This dream proves you are not normal Mimi, we are said to dream in black and white. Those pink tutus, not the gorillas. Prove you our out of your ever lovin mind girl.

Get help, get lots of help, check yourself in someplace. The zoo perhaps, haha. Sounds like a fun dream Mimi, now put that bottle away.......
  • secretlife said on Oct 06, 2007....
oh this is most definitely a sexual dream.
    2 gorillas and Mimi....a 3 someone!
the tutu's?  and pink no less?
these represent the playfullness in the "interaction".....and i'm not even gonna go into the symbolism in the color pink....let's just that that represents your more feminine attributes....

Maybe it is about a lover who is very strong and masculine but has an amazingly silly sense of humor.  I mention lover because the dream happens in your bed.  He's non threatening because he's in a pink tutu.

Gorillas are powerful and uncontrollable and scary and dangerous.  But not to you they aren't.  They're sillies.  They are your playmates.

How do you feel about Mamie?  She seems to be the connection to the tutus.

Maybe the gorillas came from this?

Just a thought.  I sometimes dream of things from SC!

well, well, here is my thought on this after a high school football game, pizza and two beers.....

It is OBVIOUS that these apes were the monkeys on our backs! We decided to let them off the hook and thusly, they donned the appropriate attire for dancing through the next stage of our lives...they deliver a few swift kicks (real politely though) and we get the hint and fall into the middle of your bed just laughing our asses off.
Oops, I wasn't in the dream...just my tutus were...um, who cares, this is my interpretation and I morphed myself there. Plus I had to be there to block the door so B couldn't get in and find out what the ruckus was about.

The swan dives and back flips are likely symbolic of like, a bird with lead on its wings who suddenly figured out how to do this, because they are now free.

Or maybe I should just have another beer. Your call, its your dream!:)))
