Today I'm wearing glasses. just lenses for protection on excess UV light coming from the computer monitor, the flourescent light here in the office and from the sun.
My eyes would usually get tearful whenever it's tired or when the environment is too dry. Sort of protection to keep it at it's 20/20 vision. But lately, it doesn't anymore.
At the end of the day, my eyes are red, itchy and I have a headache. Light adjustment coming from the office going out to sunlight always give me momentary blindness.
sunlight hurts more now than before. I think my eyes is now more sensitive. or i'm getting old.

Either ways, I know it will only get worse if I will not do anything about it. So i'm wearing glasses. i have not been to an opthalmologist- but I have a feeling that he will give me something with grade after the test. And it will have to be done soon. Uh-oh.

haha. the joke is on me. I used to tease my younger sister when she got her first eyeglasses. I'm four years her senior, and yet she's wearing glasses for seven or six years now. Revenge will be sweet for her.

She used to say that someday soon I will be wearing one. I didn't thought it will be THIS SOON.

yet, I have always known that my eyes will someday make me pay for all the reading that I've used it for.

It's inevitable. and just another milestone in my life. a not so welcome change. that I will have to live by.

oh btw, I got my salary increase today! :D somehow I thought the sun gave me a wink when I got out from the office amidst the stormy weather. must be my imagination. But I'm feeling lighter.

I'll give myself a treat later today. I soo need it. it's not all bad after all. :D
