I was just playing around at You Tube because I was bored. And I have an account there that I've never really done anything with yet, but I actually do have something to upload now. Anyway, I was looking at my special page that they make for you when you sign up and how depressing is this? In big huge letters it says, "YOU HAVE NO FRIENDS"
Way to boost someone up! Couldn't they put that a little gentler?
Can you tell I'm bored and on cold medicine? Someone talk to me. Is this microphone on? Testing...1,2....

I got a thing in the mail saying that I had unclaimed money in a bank somewhere in Canada. All I had to do was call this number, give them 10% of my unclaimed money, and then I'd be able to collect my fortune.
How anyone is stupid enough to fall for that, I'll never know. Why would I have unclaimed money in a Canadian bank?? And if I really did, why would I pay someone else to get it?

everyone says its stupis, but I did it once cus I was bored and had no intentions not money to but it so they could sell away for 6 hours I still wouldnt/couldnt be tempted...but I walk away with something good!! (they always give you something worthwhile!!)
my bro and his wife went to one and got the holiday, and took it, and still didnt buy the time share :-)

Oh! I did do that once. With my ex girlfriend. We listened to this 4 hour seminar on a timeshare near San Diego. And then we got a free camera and an overnight stay at a resort by the beach. But the catch was that we had to stay in the hotel during a certain time period, which neither of us could do. And the camera was a piece of shit that broke after the first time we used it. I think they give out better prizes in England... -

I joined facebook and had very few friends, but all my other friends joined a few months after and then i had friends!! But it's still not nice the way they make it so pointingly obvious that u have no friends or all of three friends, its like great, i do have more you know..i'm just the saddo that happens to sign up to the websites before half of them have even heard of it..like bebo, i was first to get that out of my whole college year too..oh dear..I can't help it that I get bored and sign up to various websites.i love you tube btw, u can spend hours on there looking up old things that used to be on tv that are no more, like the wombles/the moomins and feeling all nostalgic.. -

Facebook has a profile for me. My kids and I post stuff there for each other as do my nephews and neices. Strange no one else in my generation and family get on there. There is some fool who keeps wanting to be my friend. I ve never heard of him and deny him and he just keeps on asking. Its my version of a stalker I think. -

Daisy--I'm signed up to a ton of websites, but I don't always remember to go back. And then I forget my passwords and stuff, so I sign up again! And I love You Tube too! You can find just about anything there.
botoni--It seems like Facebook is really popular these days. I've never signed up there. I should check it out. One of the reasons why I abandoned My Space was all the weirdos who wanted to be my friend. This one guy kept sending me messages asking me for dating tips because he was lonely and wanted a girlfriend. Why he asked me, I have no clue! I had no idea who he was and I didn't even have my own girlfriend at the time either. Clearly I couldn't help him.

What did you think of all that rain last night? Or was it night before? I LOVED IT, but I can see if you got caught in it you might be sick as a result. Didn't they say it never rains in Sunny Southern California? That torrential downpour reminded me of home (Louisiana). I love listening to thunderstorms... sleeping to them actually... even better, making love to them!
Anyway, hope you feel better soon, hope you and NC took advantage of the rain ;), and hopefully we'll get another nice rain like that one.

Hey, my parents did one of those timeshare things once. It wasn't really a timeshare. It was for buying undeveloped land in a community. They lined up three of those places in Arkansas and took the whole family on a two week vacation.... the first time we ever left the state. They did end up buying some property, though. lol I know what you mean about weekends, here, e_t. I try to stay away on weekends now (at least as much as I can), because it depresses me to feel like I'm the only loser spending my weekend on this site. :D -

I couldn't handle having another site to post on--I can barely keep up with this one! I signed onto one site because my son is on it, but I don't answer when people leave messages wanting to "be my friend." I guess that is rude, but I just can't do more than this one. PT--The weather! I know, it's been totally winter like. Everyone thinks it's always sunny here, but it's not! It's been quite fitting to have rain when I've got a cold, and unfortunately there wasn't much enjoyment of it here since I'm all contagious and stuff! But I do like listening to the rain when I sleep.
kruu--You can't stay away on weekends, then I'm the only loser on the site! :-P Saturdays are just boring for me because Nat's working. But I actually made plans yesterday to go somewhere! But I was too sick to go. Hopefully next Saturday I won't be the only Saturday SC loser....Maybe I should start a club? There might only be three people in it, but it's a start!
destiny/daisy--I've never heard of that before. I guess it's an English thing!
wombat--I like my friend circle here too. And it's much less pressure because there are no big letters saying, "you have no friends" when you first get here!
