Basudhev Kutumbakam is the saying emphasizing on treating the whole world as a family without any discrimination in the name of religion, caste or creed. If there is something good, it has to be adopted in an honest faith instead of discarding the same simply for the reason that it doesn't fit into your system on account of barriers like religion or several other demarcations dogmatically followed by the people. Love yourself, love others equally and that is the factor that brings harmony in the society.
I came across a news only the other day mentioning one muslm girl Nazneen by name writing Hanumaan Chaleesa in Urdu. I know other muslim scholars translating Ram Charitra Maanas, an epic, in Urdu and there are instances of several muslim saints constructing Hindu temples in different places. Similarly there are several muslim centres of worship and Dargaahs where Hindu worshippers outnumber the muslim devotees visiting these places more sincerely, faithfully and with a bigger commitment. Christians joining Hindu missions in this country and also abroad are a common features and one can easily come across every now and then the situations where Americans and English lead group processions chanting Hare Rama, Hare Krishna in places like Bombay, New Delhi and Varanasi. Respecting all religions is a key note to bring people together and that is what is capable of bringing solace and peace to an otherwise strife laden world.
