To all who have procrastinated and who will continue to do so, the following pledge is just for you.

Procrastinator's Pledge

I solemnly vow to put aside that which must be done until the absolute last second;
Not because I can't do it, but merely that something indulgent has beckoned.

I solemnly vow to find every possible task and claim it must be done,
Even a trip to the dental hygienist, I think, would be more fun.

I solemnly vow to sleep not a wink the night before my project is due,
So that when asked if I'm feeling alright, I claim, "Must be the flu."

I solemnly swear to underestimate the time it will take,
so that an illness on the day it is due, I must fake.

I solemnly swear from this point forward to avoid at all costs
that feared and fateful event of running into my boss.

To this solemn oath that I have sworn, I must confess,
Yes... it is true... my project is already overdue. :-P

Happy procrastinating everyone!

    Hmm...see I already asked you if you were my noisy neighbor, but now I gotta ask you, do you work for me too? :-P

    I'm actually not a procrastinator when it comes to work, but if you're talking chores at home? I can almost always come up with at least a dozen excuses as to why I did not fold the laundry or put the clean dishes away. When I was single, by the time I actually got around to doing either of those tasks, the dishwasher and the laundry basket were almost empty, thus making my job easier. I'd just grab dishes and clean clothes out their respective places. Why bother to put them away? See how good I am at rationalizing my procrastination? :-P

    You three are my absolute favs, you know that? Dunno what I would do without your witty and laconic comments. I had fun crafting this poem/post. It's a goofy original PT Procrastination Piece. Glad you enjoyed. Oh, and I FINALLY finished my project. :-P ....   YAY!!!!!!!!   No harm, no foul and now payday!

    Much love to you three -- Kyle, Ed, & Daniel.

    Hugs, PT
