It's been raining hard in Shanghai from this morning. Weather forecast said that a huge typhoon named Wipha is approaching Shanghai. In the next few days, nearly 200,000 people are expected to relocate to avoid the risks of the typhoon.
Later this afternoon, a piece of news said that the government ordered that all schools in Shanghai will have a day off tomorrow due to the bad weather. In the meantime, rumors about a temporary day-off spreaded in the office quickly as the rain continued without a slight trace of stopping.
If such weather goes further, our office outing on this Thursday will be probably postponed or canceled.
This is the first time in my life to be so close to a typhoon (I moved to Shanghai less than a year ago). Hope nothing bad will happen.
