I’ve been called a lot of things and I’m used to it. I am totally into Asian women. Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thai, Filipina, Vietnamese and I’m very proud of it. Can I help it if I’m only attracted to Asians? Then why is it that I have a fetish or I’m a sailor or an military asshole? I’ve dated white girls, black chicks and Mexican girls but they just don’t do it for me as much as Asian chicks do. I'm just more attracted to Asian chicks, so big fucking deal. I’m only stigmatized because I’m white. If I was Chinese or Japanese, then no one would say anything. I have a Chinese friend who is only into white chicks. No one has ever said he has a fetish. I like to call it preference, not a fetish.

This subjugation is not only confined to the world of material goods; its also ideological. Ever heard of Madame Butterfly? or the term "penetration of the East?" Caucasians (mainly Europeans and Americans) have had a fetish with the East, portraying the entire region as "feminine" and "docile" since the early 1800's, perhaps even earlier. Historically, the "west" viewed the "east" as a place replete with romance and intrigue and inscrutable customs. While I do believe love transcends racial boundaries, its hard for me to see white men going after asian women, at least most of the times, as anything other than the perpetuation of this "fetish." This is exarcerbated by the fact that in line with this portrayal of Asia and people of Asian descent as feminine, asian americans are accordingly devalued and disparaged by mainstream America, and arguably everywhere else in the western world. While America has truly been a blessing- what America stands for is superior to any other nation - I cannot help but see the lack of acceptance of Asian Americans males in mainstream America. Sure we are beginning to see asian american women more, but the broadcasting companies seems to have a policy portraying Asian americans males as anything other than as gay or "feminine," if at all. Case in point: a friend of a friend, an Asian American, is an actor but only seems to get roles as a geek or a homosexual. What's up with that? The lack of such opportunities suggest that perhaps this ideological perception of the East and thus of Asia still abounds, though I know it is less prevalent in areas heavily populated by asian americans. Moreover, I find Asian american women who only go after non-asians or any other women who hate on their own ethnicity as complete sell outs who have bought into the ideology expounded by the mass media such as MTV. Because of such, regardless of why you like Asian women, you are, as you said, stigmatized because you are white. I do not know if you can understand what I'm trying to say and i do wish the world was different, but people of color seems to have it rough; especially african-americans. Perhaps we can change it. I'm an Asian male and at the risk of sounding like I'm a colored person whining, I will say that Asians, and Asian men in particular, are marginalized in many societies, from other races as well as their own women. There is also a growing statistic that states that more and more Asian women are settling for white or non-Asian males. And I hate to say this, but I blame the media for this. Asian men are still portrayed as gay or feminine, and no other race of men seems to be viewed this way. So unless we start to dispell these myths of weak, submissive Asians and passive Asian men, then even white people like dantheman will lose out, because they will be viewed as the typical white male with a fetish and a penchant for being rough mannered and crude. -

But the question is why? I've heard the stories but seems like I still can never grasp it.
The truth is, for me Caucasian girls are more superior physically then asian girls. I dunno why. They just have facial features and the skin and all. Although now I've come to appreciate the beauty of both. Can't really compare the two cuz we're just different.
As for mentally, maybe the majority of asian girls are more submissive but I beg to differ :)

I wouldn't worry what the people say anyway. Personally, I love Asian men. My Master, who is Asian, doesn't date Asian women. I don't date white men. Psychiatrists call this "reverse discrimination". Why? What a bullshit way to label somebody who has a simple preference.
Can Master help it that he has a thing for big strong bodies, big tits and blonde hair? Sorry, you just don't get that with Asian women. It's not as if he's not dating them BECAUSE their Asian, it's because they don't have the features that turn him on the most.
Can I help that I have a thing for that slanted almond eye, dark hair, golden skin, and lean frames (and yes, there's a little bit to do with that gender role culture too, I'll admit it). I just don't get that very often with white men. Again, it's not because their white, it's because they don't have the features that turn me on.
You don't have to know WHY you like something to just know you like it. And just because you like something the most doesn't mean it's a fetish.
