I can alredy smell the smells, hear the sounds, and taste the food in my mouth. Its as if Im already there. Once a year , the first full week in October, comes the Fall Festival. It is like nothing else I know. Blocks and blocks are shut down. There are over 125 food booths with every kind of food you can imagine. Over 30 different rides and games. But what makes it so much fun for me is the people. All you have to do is sit and people watch and you can have hours of entertainment. I have been goin to the Fall Festival every year since I can remember....I know I was being taken down there in a stroller. The food is fantastic. They have so many things to choose from. One of the most talked about is the Brain Sandwich.....uuugghhh. So gross. I can remember being a kid and my mom standing in line for one of these for hours. I was sooo ready to go ride rides and here we are waiting son some nasty brains!!! But they have a huge selection. My all time favorite is corn fritters. Oh I have to have them from the same booth every year. They have ribeye steak sandwiches, shark fajitas, ostrich burgers, corn on the cob on a stick, fudge, haystacks, strombolis , ham sandwiches, moster ears, carmel apples, ......and thats just a few of the things. And you can smell it for blocks before you even get to it. I cant wait!! Two more weeks and it wil be here.
