I've thought about this often, as I don't like my full first name and never have.
My choices change over the years, but I really like Mai ("my" - at least in my head) right now. I could also see Elizabeth or Isabelle, but only for the nickname Izzy in either case. I guess that's not too different from what I do now (going by a shortened version).

I have always liked Ana Gabriel (it sounds really nice when said in spanish). I was going to name my daughter that but my ex was against it since his name is Gabriel. He didn't want his kids to have his first name. -

Me-Myself&I.... I went to High School in Montevideo, Uruguay (when my dad's company transferred us there) and I met this exchange student named Earp (and we called him Wyatt). His twin came for the second term. Funny that the twins didn't look anything alike (both blond but one taller than the other).
I've always had a problem with my name and kids making fun of it in school but funny that I never picked a second name when given the chance.
