I was just looking up holiday destinations (well, it's almost the end of the day...) and started browsing through Hawaii. Ah, sandy beaches, hot days, passionate nights, pig hunting... eh? Back up... Pig hunting?
Big Hawaiian hogs, with big hog tusks, are a big hunting attraction on this holiday island it seems. Along with deer, goats, big-horned sheep and birds...
Apparently, Hawaii was considering a return to an official pig hunting season two years ago, when the pigs threatened to take over. I'm no hunter myself (I suck at all sports and would be more likely to blow myself up than hit anything) but I think the next time someone asks what I'm doing for the holidays, I'll say 'Pig hunting in Hawaii'. It has a certain ring to it, n'est-ce pas? ;)
