My oldest daughter and I are the same height and have the same size feet. Since she's been in the 7th grade, her feet have not grown.
So, I always assumed that my middle daughter would be around 5'6 or so and have feet somewhere around a size 8 or 9.
Instead, her feet have grown almost non-stop every year that I can remember -- to the point where last year i told her that i was SURE that her feet wouldn't grow any bigger. Surely size 10 was the abolute biggest her feet would get.
Imagine my reaction when she informed me that her jazz shoes didn't fit. And oh by-the-way, i'd just spent $50 on the size 10's 6 months before-
size 11?
surely you jest?
At the start of the summer I noticed she'd had a growth spurt too-
so not only did her feet grow again, but she is now about 2 inches taller than my oldest
and I....just a few inches shy of my husband.
i look at it like this - if she keeps growing, she will grow into those big feet!
but where oh where am i going to find girl shoes in size 11? (*shudder* or bigger?)
