Like most of us, that line is what lured me in. I was disappointed to see it was only another link using google ads. I already had those on my blogger blogs for well over 2 years and never saw a penny of income. So let's just say I'm not holding my breath. I'd probably be more likely to get hit by a falling airplane part than get a check from Google. My account on google still says I have a zero balance. How can that be? Does that mean not one person in 2 years has clicked on a single ad of mine, not even by mistake? I don't trust the system...the whole things seems fishy to me.
The only online site that's paid me for writing thus far has been ||{1}|| They bought one article from me for $75. I have made a wee bit of money on cafepress. As far as getting rich on the internet, I pretty much suck at it.They should call it the InterNOT, as in 'I'm NOT making any money on it'.

Is your Google AdSense ID entered in your profile? I will click on one of the ads on your page. If you do not see a couple of cents from that then maybe you have some setup work to do. Write on. -

If you enjoy making money off writing, you should write a book. I mean, a really good one. I think it's the most satisfying (and lucrative) way to make money writing. That, or start your own website if you really want advertising dollars to add up. Granted the website has to gain popularity. Those are the avenues I would try. -

I did go back to blogger.com and see if I'd actually made any 'click-thru' money on there. I made a whopping $6.25, which they won't send me until I get to $100. But at least it proves the system is working. I hope to have a much higher readership here. For some reason, not many people seem to find my blogger.com blogs. Thanks for everyone's words of encouragement. -

narbeha1983- Don't I just wish I could write a really good book! I always seem to get started, but I can't follow through. Sigh... so much for the millions I was going to make [i]that[/i] way! I think any writing I do is going to be for fun and the satisfaction of knowing that people are reading (and hopefully enjoying!) my stuff. That's what I like about SoulCast- not the big bucks (ha ha!), but the community and the SoulCastian friends I'm making. Oh, now I feel all warm and fuzzy! -

It's not a get rich quick scheme. It takes time and lots of exposure. For example some quick stats from my account which includes many other sites. 30,486 page impressions => 399 clicks => $67.41 Adding the google search doesn't apply to this system but I will include anyway. Search queries 1110 => 208 clicks => $22.15 -

Lately I've been blogging for mylot.com and they do pay me more than Adsense ever did, but it's still peanuts per post. But I've earned almost $20 there in a month and a half.But unlike Soulcast, where discussions are often moving and knowledgable, mylot will practically drive you crazy with posts like 'me too' and 'excellent discussion. Way to go." They've cleaned it up a little with a new rating system. So hopefully it will be better. But the fact that there is no edit button on mylot.com drives me nuckin fritz. -

I opened my blog in dec 2007 and by feb 16 08 it was removed from adsense. I have been answering questions on finance and credit cards, at all experts.com under the screename Tbaarr for almost 10 years. this was the traffic I sent to my blog. Tbaarr.blogspot.com. Apparently google felt the level of traffic was really an illegal robot and shut down my ads and my blog for 3 days. Now my blog is back, with no ads. DONT EVER THINK YOU WILL GET RICH FROM ADSENSE.
