  Natalie--I think it's just a new feature they are using to promote Soulcast and to interest new people in joining SC.
  
  
  They obviously based their reply message off the ones they probably send when someone does apply for a job at SC. Someone just didn't edit the reply or linked the subscribe to the newsletter to the wrong reply.
  
  Interesting. I just did it and the message I got was "Thank you for subscribing". Also, I didn't get a pop-up window. I have a window at the bottom of the SC main page if I scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page. That may be the browser that I am using that is causing that, though.

  zayda, did you get the popup too? I was just worried I had done something weird and accidentally applied for a job! LOL Or that it was a trick I fell for.........Kyle isn't here at the moment and I couldn't ask him! It gave me a link to click to confirm my interest in the job.........should I click it??

  i also had that same pop up when i opened soulcast but i didnt submit my email i continued to log in and the pop up disappeared.

  Okay I tried it too. I was using Firefox and it was like Zayda said, at the bottom the page. I didn't get a pop-up. But I filled it out, then it came to a screen that said 'thank you for subscribing'. But when I checked my email, I got the same message Nat did. About submitting a resume.
  
  I guess I'll go ahead and click the confirmation link...I'm just not sure if that's what you're supposed to do.

  My email didn't say anything about applying for a job or ask me to confirm that I submitted a resume. It did give me a link to see my subscriptions so that I could unsubscribe to the newsletter if I wish.
  
  Odd.
  
  I would say they still probably need to work some bugs out of this new feature they are adding. :)

  check our latest post for an explanation. The thing about the resume was a mix-up that should be fixed now.

  silver, I actually would have told her that, had I not been at the store when she posted this. But you know what? Every time I've posted to Soulcast Help, I never get a response. It took Nat here about twenty minutes to have Soulcast respond to her question! That's pretty impressive :-D

  hardly: SC has already stated in the first related post below that i'm not a SC employee. i'm fairly certain you've seen me say as much on more than one occasion in the past. :>
  
  i like a number of others am subscribed to the soulcast_help account, though, and b/c i've been using this site for a while, i find that i'm usually able to provide useful feedback to those who do.

  Ed, I think you did respond to one of my questions. But you said you didn't know the answer! And Soulcast never stepped in. I think I posted three times for various reasons, but I never got any actual answers. Ah well, I guess it wasn't that important anyway.

  ed, thank you for the advice :) I didn't know about that, but Kyle told me too! Next time, I'll remember that, but I guess this worked too! LOL

  I still have not recieved a newsletter though.........was I supposed to?? I wanted to see what was in it.......

  nat: you're welcome, but i ought to have known kyle would be first with the answer. :> i did though and it was cool, it contained a link and the text of a blog entry by zayda from last year. it is IMHO the single most honest blog entry i've encountered on SC.

  Silver, we finally got the newsletter! It was our fault because we never clicked the confirmation link, because it was for confirmation of a resume. And when Nat asked SC about it, they said her address was already on the list. So we figured we didn't need to click. But I guess we did! That was a very good blog entry by Zayda. I'd read it before, but it was new to Natalie.
