I am just curious about what you do with your spare time. Some people play indoor games of all sorts: computer games, bowling, darts, card games, philately, squash rackets, board games, and so on.
Others may find the outdoors more inviting for the fresh air and the opportunity to indulge in table or lawn tennis, golf, walking, jogging, basketball, soft ball, and so on.
My annual leave is coming up soon and I am wondering what to do with all that time I would have available then.
I am not used to staying idle and I really cannot imagine myself getting used to watching the television day in and day out for the next forty-one days.
I have forty-one days to spend because I am an expatriate worker. Yes, I am lucky. To be honest, I really need some rest after working non-stop for almost three years now without a break, except for the weekends, of course.
A thought just occurred to me. Why don't I take up an indoor activity? I could learn a new game. The season is not ideal for most of the outdoor activities that interest me.
Should I take up poker? I have some friends who could teach me to play. I would have to speak with them first and see if they would be available then.
I do not have any furniture for it yet, except the dining table; but, no, I cannot use that. I think I know exactly where I will find some poker tables.
Guys, what do you think about my chosen pastime? I will post again when I have made some background checks on this proposal.
