okay i know going on a diet doesn't work for me. so i decided to take fitrum. fitrum is not a diet pill but an anti oxidant. ive been taking since 3 days ago and i tell you i see some changes already. first of all i dont feel tired like i use to. i always have energy. and how do you say this. my poop is much more better. now i just need to exercise. although i have to fix my schedule since i'm busy with school. i'll try later to exercise. does dancing count? and yeah i'm quitting smoking. after what happened yesterday i need to quit smoking. i wanna live my life now. and the first step is to take care of my self. so i'm quitting smoking. why do i want to lose weight? first of all i check my height and weight index in our school's clinic. i was 30 pounds overweight. i'm always lazy and have low energy. and i haven't got my menstrual cycle in 5 months... i know i'll go to a gynocologist next time. and yeah i think i need to wear glasses now.... can you believe this is all happening to me? and i'm only 21!!! well better start now while i'm young... and yeah my mother promised that she'll buy me laptop if i lose weight!!! yay!!!! =)

hi queen, yeah fitrum is much better than xenical... i tried fitrum before and it did make me lose weight... another thing i tried that worked is Exofat... but be sure to drink plenty of water when you take this diet supplements, they can make you feel constipated.

    goodluck!

Well, I think it's really great that you're so motivated!
Walking is a good place to start!
  • secretlife said on Sep 06, 2007....
    walking is good queenie!
    but dancing counts ALOT!
the secret is to find exercise that you actually LIKE to do-
and if that's dancing, then dance your heart out!

I want to commend you on wanting to lose weight and I can see from your writing you want it bad. I want to say that the pills and all the advertising for weight loss, don't do it, it is only temporary fix, you can not consider a change of lifestyle as a diet. I spent years staying in shape and eating healthy and studying health. If you need some advice I am happy to help you out.

I'm trying to lose weight too.  I don't know about Fitrum (I'm leery of that sort of thing in general but an antioxidant isn't the same as a fat blocker, so if it's helping you, go for it) but I use a website/program/community called Sparkpeople.  I'm not affiliated or anything, just sharing something I find useful that you might not know about.  It's totally free, and has tons of info, motivation, messageboards, personal pages, recipes, recipe calculator, planner w/email remindersplus calorie, fitness, and "other goals" trackers.  The "program" is just strategies and techniques to help you slowly and permanently make healthy habits that will lead you to lose weight.  I like it a lot and it's really helping me so far.  It may not be your thing in the end, of course, but maybe it's worth a look.

queenie, I'm so glad you're taking care of yourself!

Ordinarily I don't think that diet pills are a good idea, but I looked into the ingredients of Fitrum online and it seems to be good stuff, as opposed to amphetamines or caffeine.

I have lots of experience with weight loss.  The only way to do it over the long haul is to stay motivated.  Don't eat for pleasure.  Eat in a disciplined way.  Actually it's a real drag to lose weight.

i dropped 15 pounds in 1 month, just by cutting out breads, sodas and sugar.

    3 things i love too.  :~(

I know how ya feel honey. I loathe dieting and the sense of deprivation that goes with it. I could stand to drop some weight myself (not gonna say how much). I'm still working on that magic pill that lets you wake up buff & gorgeous ... LOL

Why do you cute girls always want to lose weight?
  • wombat said on Sep 06, 2007....
It's good to want to lose weight if you need to, and I wouldn't know, but I guess an "anti-oxidant" or whatever is better than those "diet pills."  I need to lose a few myself lately, but haven't come up with a plan or acted on the notion.  I just hope you will think "healthy" instead of "skinny."  And the reward should probably be how good you feel and how healthy you are.  Just take care of yourself.

Are you sure you don't have PCOS? I have recently found out that I have it.My mom(who is from Thailand) for years was always on me about diets and exercise, even though I didn't eat hardly at all.PolyCystic Ovarian Syndrome makes you tired, gain weight, gives you acne and makes you miss periods and make you infertile.Do you have any brown spots on your body? That is a sign of insulin resistance. It can be treated with medication.I lost 15 pounds immediately taking the medication.I was so happy to find out finally that something WAS wrong. that something that I had been trying to tell people for years that something didn't feel right with my body.I have starved myself for years and now I have to eat because the doc says my body is on starvation mode and just storing up the fat.

jadeskye26: woah... really? i'll try to check up with an gyno just to be sure! thanks for that advice!!!

This is a fat person taking up a fat seat on the plane. A fat seat on the bus. A fat seat on the train. Should we pay for individual transportation by the pound?

One of the main realizations I had while watching the Olympics is that I am pretty darn lazy....
My life is really weighing heavy on my mind today. Some days I wake up looking for one good reason to get out of bed. I have things I'm supposed to get done today, and I can't find the motivation to make a start.

Apathy is my companion. ...
Yeppers, I was...hostile and a witness.....oh well....
If you want to see me freak out, take me to the hospital. Ugh. What an ordeal......
