These are my furry roommates. The human ones I don't have a picture of. Hopefully we will all be free of fleas soon.
Wolfgang (the dog) is sitting in the corner where his doggy bed used to be. I suspect that when the whole flea issue came up, the bed was tossed out since it is a potential source of housing for said fleas. He also makes himself at home on the smaller of the two couches now and then, though I'm going to try to break him of it. Wolfgang likes to play fetch and works very hard to be an efficient food disposal. He greets me by the door when I come home. Sometimes he stands too close to the door and gets his nose whacked when I open the door. If there are strangers with me or strangers at the door he hides in the back of the house. Pity. He looks ferocious. He answers to wolfie, gang banger, wolf and hey you!
Isis is a very affectionate cat. She's very aware of just how beautiful she is, so you don't need to tell her. She will actually come to you if you snap your fingers. Don't tell her it's more of a dog thing, it's working for me. I made the sad mistake of leaving one of my afghans out on the couch (which she is lying on in the picture) and now it has become her property. It's much softer than the couch, which I don't think I'll be able to break her from getting up on. She is also the back up food disposal, though she only disposes certain foods. She answers to Izzy, beautiful, and you too!
I also got the third roommate last weekend. His name is C and he's a 30ish finance graduate from Stanford who is working in the bay area. I've only seen him in passing, but he seems like a nice guy. So, two nice human roommates and two nice but flea ridden furry roommates. Life could be worse.
