As you may or may not know, I have been on some interesting psychological journeys lately.  I have learned a lot and now consider myself to be 'self realised.'

Every human being is self-conscious, that simply means we see everything in relation to ourselves.  We are the perceiver and everything we sense is separate from ourselves, in relation to our selves.

Becoming self realised is a transition that takes place when one realises what the true definition of self is, and allows one to become more conscious.

self-conscious  -  self = conscious

We are self-conscious beings, everything we do is affected by self, everything we say we love, hate and so on all comes from the self.  Emotions and pain all come from self.

Take all that away and what is left is simply the true universal power that is consciousness.

    Now, there's a definition of self-consciousness that I hadn't heard before.  Wouldn't that be more like egocentrism?  Looking forward to the next installments.
