  I do not have any sexual attraction towards children, i.e., un- or under-developed bodies.  But I do have some attraction towards particular individuals who are developed but happen to be younger than 18.
  
  Seele, I know.  But I do like the novel, despite the terribly tortured theme.  If you read it, then you'll know that Humbert still loved Dolores even after she'd become a pregnant teenager.

  In my view, the novel Lolita is not about pedophilia, but obsession.  You can imagine the book re-written with some other obsession, but it couldn't be rewritten without obsession.
  
  I googled Hebephile. In one of the results, I found this riveting sentence (alleging some pretty gastly behavior):

  Cam, I'm not interested in your arguments.  I've seen what you have to say/rant on about all of it under a different thread (something about some pedo who was caught near kids, whatever it was;  but your arguments lost their validity when you started raving about another poster).  I'd be fine with blocking you.
  
  True, re: obsession and Lolita.  Very true.  I suppose in my day I have had that burning obsession, but said obsession was reciprocated, too (it was only online, though, nothing physical at all).  In hindsight, I thank that my luck was limited to that since her personality defects got in the way of a functional relationship.
