botoni: Thanks! Yes, I didn't realize it would feel so nice. My memory probably won't improve, but I won't forget how good it feel to have you guys to talk to!
Brunettebmshell: You're welcome! Yes, I had noticed 99 for several days, and was keeping an eye out for you! Ha.
queen: There you are! I was thinking about asking about you, but (hey!) I remembered about your exams! Hope they went well and you have slept some this time around!
quietone: Thanks, friend. Yes, I am silly, but that is part of my charm....lol.
Me Myself&I: Thank you, too! High fives and smiles back at ya'!
skald: I always think I am on top of what's new, and at least glancing at every post title going back to where I left off last time. That's why I can't understand missing things. But the memory thing--that is just getting older, and my brain not holding as much info as it used to. I think it pushes things out the other end to make room for new data!
Mamie: I have mentioned it a few times here and there, but never wrote a message to SC about it. I figured it was just a glitch that didn't mean anything--just annoying. I don't think anyone can see it but "us" so no one even knew. But I am curious as to why. I just wanted to clear the air--- and thank you, too--and you are on my list I see!
secretlife: Thank you. Thank you very much.... (my Elvis impersonation)
destinydiva: I had claimed not to "care too much" about how many people read my nonsense, but it did feel good to see that 100 mark! The subscribing problem is not just me, then. Some others have mentioned it. So, I will not worry about it. My memory is something I can't fix. I even tried taking notes for awhile, but hey, this is not school! Thanks for subscribing and topping my list! My memory is something I can't.....(oh wait, I just said that...... I think...) Ha.
W, Congratulations! Please don't think of your postings as "nonsense." I think they are all very entertaining, and evidently there are many others who do also. You are very down-to-earth in your writings and you also make newcomers like myself feel welcome here.
There are days where I log on and don't comment on postings, but I always love reading them. I have to be in the mood to comment or start my own posting, and today is one of those "I'm in the mood" day.
Congrats again, and have a great Labor Day weekend!
Zaraida: Hi Z! Long time no see! Thanks for stopping in. And I appreciate your compliment so much! Me? Down to earth? I had to mull over that comment for a minute, and I realized that in my writings, most of the time, I am! (when I get silly and trying to have fun is an exception) I get flaky in my personal life quite a bit, and it just goes to show you there are two sides of me!
I am just like you in that I have my moods where I just can't seem to comment or post, and can barely make myself read the new stuff. I just shut off the computer for awhile and regroup. Glad to see you here and "in the mood." Haven't done much special for Labor Day weekend, except enjoy some free time reading good books under my shade tree. Nice....
