Simple question......

Which do you prefer?

I mean Daniel refused all the meat and delicious food at the king's court and opted for traditional vegetables but still remained healthy.

No, no.....this is not just a Vegan diet defense. I am talking about raw food versus fired or heated food.

So, which do you have more often and why - cooked or uncooked meals?

SW:: ha-ha.....I don't blame you - raw oysters and shrimp or tomatoes, salads, and eggs are probably as far as I would go.

Some raw food...if prepared (spiced up and/or flavored) does taste great...although I must admit it's probably an acquired taste.  Sushi is good and steak Tartar (which is really seasoned/flavored raw hamburger) is great for me.
I know it's not for everybody.

Rolling: hi....yes, you're right - some foods are not for everyone.

I remember growing up regarding snails as a delicacy. One day, however - I don't know what came over me - I refused to eat it when it was offered to me.

Though roasted and garnished  with delicious aroma and everything, I couldn't eat it - I kept staring at its eyes or something until someone else relieved me of the burden.

KFC chicken and Hardee's or Burger King burgers for me any time! :)

I want most of my food cooked also...but I won't turn down a tasty raw version that goes down good.
Most vegetables are actually more nutritious raw rather than cooked as some minerals and nutrients are lost in the cooking but hey....nothing beats a good home cooked meal and that's a fact.

queen: hi....yeah, but just remember to buy the ingredients first. ha-ha.

Rolling: hi....some raw vegetables really need to be washed thoroughly before hand - a bottle of vinegar is quite essential for any salad person because rinsing is key to safety from bugs, etc.

Yes, nothing beats a good home cooked meal - 'come to dinner at our house'  has often meant  a kid's invitation  to another  just to show off his/her Mum's cooking. ;)
